Great room, peaceful position to view the lake. The manager was extremely helpful.

Management very helpful and accommodating. Nice location. That's about it. Rooms small. Undesirable people staying long term. More of a backpackers/hostel/drop in centre. We were charged over 4 times the average price that others were paying for the same room at the same time, because we booked for the Newcastle V8's. Totally ripped off. Rooms were not serviced. Generally very untidy and poorly maintained. Would not return and caution others to think twice.

a once lovely hotel now ruined by the new terrible manager .. very rude and condescending and so many things wrong since new management , fires, no telephone to ring, undercooked seafood, terrible. very sad that my favourite place has turned to filth

Thanks Rebecca and Tim for a great place to stay. Great friendly staff. It's nice to stay at a place where you can feel at home. Great views of the lake. Great location. Hellen and Paul.... We will definitely be looking forward to staying here again....

Very nice location, by the lake. The rooms are not the best, and its restaurant was shut down for renovation, and one lady at the office (owner's sister) was not that friendly when asking for soap, which was not supplied. The other lady (may be the owner) was so nice and welcoming. More stars could have been given unless the unpleasant experience with the staff. Restaurant is not a big problem, as plenty of restaurants around walking distance.

My husband & I have been staying here for over a year now, we did notice a big decline in the place over the last 6 months or so, but we still went on the weekend for 1 night, with new management it has improved so much, Julie and her team have done an amazing job to bring this place back up to scratch, it is clean, fresh & green grass again.
I am sure in time this place will be back to what is always was, one of the best places to stay in Belmont, and once the restaurant re-opens it will be amazing, so please give it a chance & stay,

Changed hands. Bloody awful

One word "terrible " never stay here again, not that clean, noisy, old furniture, took 15 mins for the man to wake up and give me a receipt.

Great location. Reasonably priced with excited & friendly staff.
