Our Year 5 and 6 students were amazed at the legal age required to sign up to a number of popular social media sites. Year 5 and 6 students were lucky enough to experience the amazing Musica Viva this morning! They had an awesome time seeing a range of interesting musical instruments and how they work and were able to participate in tricky percussion!

Shark Tank!
Year 6 had an awesome time presenting and viewing Shark Tank presentations this week. They got to pitch their Risky Business products to the grade and the three judges (Year 6 teachers). See you on market day!

Congratulations to Tom Silvester and Jarratt Allan on representing St Bernadette’s in the Upper Hills Cluster Voice of Youth Cluster Final at Holy Cross Primary Glenwood. Tom was awarded Runner Up place for his speech “Disconnected”. Well done . Thank you to Mrs Borg for compering the event

Our Year Six voice of Youth School Finalists demonstrated their public speaking skills as they delivered their speeches this morning to their parents, teachers, peers and Year 5 students. Well done boys and girls - it is wonderful to hear you speak so passionately about your chosen topics. We know that the future is certainly in good hands. Congratulations Year 6 teachers on your mentoring and feedback to the students as they planned, wrote, recrafted and finally delivered their speeches.

Kindergarten are using their wonderful literacy skills in guided reading groups.
