Maronites are part of the Catholic Church. The Maronite Church traces its heritage back to the community founded by Saint Maron, a 4th-century Syriac monk. The first Maronite Patriarch, John Maron, was elected in the late 7th century. Although reduced in numbers today, Maronites remain one of the principal ethno-religious groups in Lebanon.
The Maronite Church asserts that it has always remained true to the Church of Rome

Mass will shortly commence at 11am. When you arrive please note the name of the person you wish to offer the Mass for, as you enter the Church.
All the names will be read out during the today’s Mass service, and through the intercession of St Charbel, we pray that those who are critically ill find comfort and peace.

Let us respond to the call of our shepherd Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay to support our struggling fellow Australians during the first weekend in September...the farmers in drought stricken rural Australia.
Through the intercession of St Charbel, may our farmers find relief in the coming days, months and years, so that they may return to being the proud producing Australians that they are.

St Charbel, Pray for Us!
The construction of St Charbel's Centre hit a milestone today - the pouring of concrete commenced for the slab on ground. With the help of the community, and the dedicated team of professionals we have with us, we envisage this project to be complete by this time next year.
But your support is needed!
Join us at #StCharbelsFestival2018, on Saturday 6 October from 3pm, where all proceeds from the days festivities will support the construction of this much needed facility.
