St Gabriel'S Catholic Church

This church is beautiful - but unfortunately not very welcoming. My Fiance and I wanted to become members of the parish and in 12 months time get married at St Gabriel's - instead we were told the priest will not commit to a day to marry us as he only focuses on his long term parish members.

I told them that we want to become members of the parish as we are looking for a church to attend masses together. But they would not allow it.

Very disappointing - a young couple wanting to become involved with our local church to be turned away. Aren't churches meant to be welcoming new comers?? Not St Gabriel's at Bexley.
