Even one star doesn’t justify the experience we had at your all you can eat Bambusa buffet for Christmas Day lunch. For someone who’s been attending your Christmas Day lunch for 6 years today has really ruined our family Christmas tradition.

To start off with, when I walked in to book the tickets and purchase them. I advised the lady I specifically that I needed a table somewhere that’s wheelchair accessible as my sick grandmother would be in a wheelchair. The lady advised me that she would note it down next to our booking and to be sure there will be a table for us.

We arrived today and handed our tickets over. To the “manager” then directing us to our seats. I was furious! Located at the back of the restaurant trying to get a wheelchair through. How is that wheelchair friendly? To then having our table and wheelchair section right in the walkway trying to have a simple Christmas Lunch meal to every person bumping my Nans wheelchair every time they walked past.

We then demanded to speak to management as this was not acceptable, management responds saying “there is nothing they can do”. Maybe don’t assure your customers that they will be having a wheelchair friendly table when the spot clearly isn’t wheelchair friendly!!

Not even eating any lunch because their is not enough catering for everyone in the restaurant, because your staff members just shoved everyone in like a bunch of cows to feed them and get rid of them. We ended up getting up and left!!

Speaking to the manager at the front desk demanding a refund because this is down right appalling and we weren’t paying for something just to sit there and be miserable with the service you have provided us with. The lady then speaks to my grandmother with nothing but bitchiness and rudeness saying “we don’t have to come to work and feed all of you, but we do”. What kind of employee says that kind of stuff to a customer?

Anyway, the staff member then continues to be rude. Saying that she spoke to me via phone call to book our seats and that I paid via eftpos. Let me reassure you that I walked into the club and booked this in person and paid CASH! After arguing for 10 minutes we finally receive a FULL REFUND.

As a member of St Mary’s Leagues club, and after visiting this restaurant for Christmas Day lunch for the past 6 years and just the restaurant in general for a casual dinner here and there. I will not be returning ever again. I will be looking elsewhere for future Christmas Lunches and to top it off cancelling my membership is definitely on the card’s as well.

One very disappointed customer!
