While researching our family history we discovered that our ancestors were some of the first settlers of Jamberoo in the 1820s, and we visited the valley to see where our forebears had lived. We fell in love with the emerald hills populated with friendly folk only 1. 5 hours from Sydney. Inspired to grow our own food and live a waste-free natural lifestyle, we purchased this very special property "Mittajooloo" (meaning A Special Place in a local Aboriginal language) as our hobby farm in 2015, originally a deer farm.
We began earnestly planting fruit trees and vegetables, repairing fences and adopting goats from the RSPCA for cheese and yoghurt making. We added bee hives and heritage chooks and pretty soon we were so busy hosting eager friends and family we decided to make this our permanent home and business. In 2017 we began offering yoga and massage and look forward to welcoming you here soon!
