Stanmore station has an old fashioned look to it with the way it has been designed. It's one of the only stations I can think of that still has the waiting areas which were quite common back in the old days.

Platform 1 is rarely used.
Platform 2 guess to the city and 3 goes west.

Station officer James was very helpful in showing me how to use my Opal card properly. I am new to this and he put my mind at ease when I was having trouble scanning it properly. All in time to catch the train. Thanks heaps James, he deserves a promotion.

Platform signage could be better. I waited in the wrong platform :(

Station is only Wheelchair accessable on Platform 1 from Trafalgar Street. Platform 2 does not have Wheelchair access.
