Star Buffet

Absolutely love this place!
Food is always fresh, drinks don't taste like melted slushie, really affordable and overall great experience! This buffet is by far the best buffet I've ever eaten at and would recommend it. Although this buffet is great, I would not recommend the star buffet at seven hills because it is very cramped and food tastes like it had been there for weeks.

Convenient distance from Hornsby area. Reasonable price for all the things ever want to eat, feeding the family on occasions. Love the cakes and deserts.

After eating, take a little walk to Gosford Library and the playground nearby. Kids like it.

Ok this all you can eat buffet used to be the place to go to and they did have great tasting foods. But lately the quality of food has gone down a notch in my opinion. Still not a bad place for a feed. Just not as good as it used to be so it only gets 3 stars from me.

Good menu, lots for the kids. More of a cafeteria feel around lunch time than a restaurant. Good selection of salads for the veggos and plenty of meats for the more carnivorous members of your party. Bottomless softdrink cups and hot cups of tea/coffee are much needed. The pizza is not recommend. You get what you pay for.

I think this place has a really good buffet going. Service is non-existent and the staff are not very good with English. The food has a lot of variety and the price is not too bad, it could be cheaper and I think it's wrong that they raise the price just because it is mother's day or something.

What I have noticed with the staff is you can clearly tell they are overworked and have been flown over from China to be cheap labor. I think the workers are also starved and don't get breaks. One time we stayed right up until closing and then we were hushed out the door, I witnessed the workers coming out and grabbing 4-5 plates at a time and eating like they had no eaten for days.

Like all of them, there's always a good selection.

Not bad, but it's advisable to go when it first opens as food is fresher.

Great place for big family outings. There is something for everyone. Food gets replenished quickly.

Pricey and food isnt all that great. They also don't hire any locals, only people from there part of the world
