Young people are cancers lost generation, often forgotten in the middle and with little improvement in survival rates for this age group. Sarcoma accounts for 1% of cancer in young people, making it a very rare cancer, but with large impacts. Unfortunately, due to the rare prevalence of sarcoma, it is over left misdiagnosed in young people, resulting in late diagnoses and poor prognoses. Stars in the Sky is Michael's legacy. A foundation with the goal of preventing sarcoma fatalities by raising community awareness of sarcoma in young people through the provision of free education on sarcoma cancer and early symptoms.
