Sterling Vincent Music

Adelaide based solo acoustic musician for hire.

Focusing on Old Time, Country Blues, 60's Folk and more modern country and Rock genres, performed using both finger-style and flat-picking techniques punctuated with a foot tapping stomp-box.

"Sterling" is the moniker of Adelaide based musician, Mark Vincent.

Sterling first worked as a solo musician in Tasmania during the 90's whist playing guitar for the band, The Good Diablo. He then moved to South Australia and formed the Country Psychedelic group, The Men.

He returned to Tasmania a few years later and co-founded the award winning band, The Embers, with an old Diablo band mate. The Embers won the National Campus Band Competition, recorded an EP for Sony BMG, were nominated as Next Crop Artists by Triple J, and were in high demand for festivals, wineries, pubs and clubs for 3 years until Sterling moved on.

In Newcastle, Sterling found himself playing lead guitar for Gambirra Mob which reignited his passion for live performance.

2020 has seen Sterling to return to South Australia, to once again focus on solo performance.
