The people at the dealership were lovely and kind when they were helping me out with the car I ended up buying and for a great price aswell!!

My car has been in great shape and I have had it for around a year and a half now

Excellent people to deal with, I bought my BMW from Steve Fosters about 8 months ago and very happy with everything. My car recently developed an idling issue and when I contacted the guys and even though the car was out of warranty they got me to bring it in and they had the problem rectified an hour later. Thanks guys great service, will recommend to everyone.

These people were very helpful an treated me with respect and were able to help me with a car that suited my needs to a "T".

These guys are fantastic and belie the reputation that most used car dealers have. It is not possible to know all of the history or problems associated with a used car but when some problems arose with a 17 year old Toyota Camry, Steve, Scott, Joe and the mechanic could not do more to assist me.
I highly recommend this firm to anyone in Sydney considering purchasing a used car.

Initially experienced some problems with the car I purchased. Had some challenges getting it sorted as I was promised a 12 month warranty with the vehicle as well as no mechanical problems, but a mechanic had identified some major issues - including serious overheating.

Eventually managed to speak with Scott who helped arrange for the delivery of a new radiator. I personally did a radiator flush and installed the new one with assistance from a friend, and the overheating issue is now resolved.

I still don't have the 12 month warranty that was promised by the sales rep, but at least the car drives now I guess.

Have you ever been treated in a way that makes you sick to the stomach that you want to vomit?? That was my experience today. If there was a minus rating, I would give minus 5 rating here.

This was the first dealership I arrived at this morning. After explaining what I needed from a car very explicitly the key points being: log book with regular service history, my budget and being able to fit my bicycle in the back easily, the white Australian male salesperson (early 50's), told me he has the perfect car for me. He took me to a 2005 Mazda 3, $1000 over my budget after his supposed final discount price, and needing to take the front wheel of my bike off everytime to fit it in. He took the service book out, did not let me look at it and flicked quickly through. There was a gap between 2010 and 2016 inside the book a lot of kilometers in between and no service dockets. I pointed that out. The salesperson looked at me annoyed and said, "so it has missed a couple of services, so what?" I said: "if a car needs a service at least once a year, that makes 6 services missed, not two as you say". He now got angry and said in a condescending manner: "I've been in the industry for 25 years. I think I know what I'm talking about. If you're expecting a perfect service history for a car over 10 years old then you are kidding yourself". I said: "I just did, 15 minutes ago from a private seller." . He goes: " I don't need you to argue with me, just go buy that car then, I can't help you" and pushing his palms towards me, basically telling me to get lost. I said: " I'm not arguing, just bringing facts to your attention. And a fact is, your behaviour is so appalling, enough to give a bad name to carsales people". He finally said: There is your bike and there, is the exit". I said I know, got my bicycle and left.

Just to let you know, 30 minutes later at GB quality cars, I met the complete opposite behaviour that made me forget my bad experience at Steve Foster and Sons. AND I was shown a car that met my every need, with a COMPLETE SERVICE HISTORY OVER 13 YEARS. To Steve Foster and Sons salesperson: do you want to rethink your theory on perfect service history for cars??? The only car not having it today was the one you were selling, which indicates a lot actually. How shonky your business is.

Do not even bother going here. They'll try to sell an Eskimo a fridge and if he speaks up, abuse the crap out of him.

No pressure and they were very easy to deal with. They had a good selection of quality cars and I couldn't be happier with the purchase of my Mitsubishi lancer. I have already recommended Steve Foster to my family and I would definitely go back for my next car.
Thank you Steve for helping me every step of the way

I bought a Holden Commodore from Steve Foster at the start of 2015. The car has been great. They were easy to deal with. My neightbour also bought a car from there (about 2008) and is also happy. I know they have been there for a long time. Hope this helps. Brian S.
