Stonevilla Studios is a artist-run studio space based in the inner west of Sydney.

STONEVILLA STUDIOS

Stonevilla Studios is housed in a heritage listed two-story terrace situated at 19 Railway Pd, Sydenham, a 5 minute walk from Sydenham station and close to the Princes Highway.

It has 7 artist studios, including one that is awarded annually as two six-month residencies, with preference given to artists from the inner west region. There are communal areas including a kitchen and a back-yard work area, a workshop with tools, and a pottery area including a kiln.

Stonevilla Studios have proudly been running the ongoing residency program since 2001, in conjunction with the Inner West council.

Each year, at Chrissie Cotter Gallery in Camperdown, Stonevilla Studios holds a fundraiser exhibition. All money raised goes towards running the infamous Stonevilla Wearable Art Prize (SWAP), an annual extravaganza held in the back-yard, with cash prizes for participants.
