Storylines Description
StoryLines - providing a powerful, creative voice to our minority cultures whose stories often go unheard.
StoryLines is a not-for-profit charity event involving some of the most talented and creative young people in Sydney. It actively works to forge meaningful cultural understanding within multicultural Sydney. StoryLines celebrates diversity and identity and fosters a sense of place and belonging within the community.
You can expect plays, art exhibitions, live dance and music performances, photographic installations, workshops and a discussion forum that will engage YOU as a member of the community in the culture and experiences of its minority and disadvantaged cultures.
the aim is simple. . . to open a dialogue, to learn, to listen to one another's stories. . . one story at a time. . . to follow the storylines to the place where they meet.
