Its a nice place and not bad on price

Strathavon is nothing like the reviews listed on Google. The management has changed years ago, the style of accommodation has changed years ago, but Google has no facility for updating or removing factually inaccurate or patently false reviews.

I have personally lived at Strathavon for more than a year, and in that time, significant improvements have occurred.

There are from time to time people who move here who do not wish to adhere to the rules, and when that occurs, they are told to leave, but the more telling comment is that there are also people here who have lived here for years, by choice.

Simply put, there are people who could easily more elsewhere if they chose, but they CHOOSE to live here.

Strathavon is reasonably priced accommodation, situated in a picturesque location, and convenient to public transportation and within walking distance of the Wyong shopping district and the Wyong train station.

this place does not deserve the title resort i was forced by neccesity to rent a room at this place on a semi permanent basis
the room was small dingy and without cooking facillities the toilet leaked and the tiles on the bathroom floor were comming off. the place is staffed by the incompetent daughter of the owner who lives with her boyfriend and spends most of her time stoned. do not i repeat do not ever have your wedding there the place will be staffed by other unqualified semi permanent residents to run the bar ( without rsa and bar qualifications) rooms are cleaned by residents also and they exploit these people with ease with 50 dollars a week discount of thier allready inconcievable rent of 225 dollars a week grounds keeping and maitenance is also done by residents for the same fee . and the majority of residents are not model citizens if you are considering this place for a holiday DONT for the love of god DONT. go to the pub instead please heed my words

I booked 3 nights online and on arrival decided NOT to stay once I saw our room and the state the place was in.
I requested a refund but was advised that the policy was no refunds.
On checking wotif where I booked I noticed that theyre stated policy is one night fee rest refunded but despite a further request they will not refund my other nights.
My advice DO NOT GO THEREI would give negative stars if i could too
AS of today they have modified their policy to no refunds
