The doctor/radiologist who did the ultrasound for my knee was excellent! Told him that I was a vet student and I was interested in what he was looking at, so then he turned on the big screen for me to see while I was lying down and proceeded to explain every structure we were looking at! I learnt more than I do at uni. I was also given the all-clear on the spot without having to wait for my results later. Thank you again :)

Worst medical imaging available, the receptionist are very rude especially the front counter. I was actually referred by my doctor in Burwood. I would said the receptionist who happened worked in middle is Korean are ill mannered! Unfortunately I did not speak the same language so I was not being treated politely, she even threw my medicare card. Also please dont call me again using private call!

I've been referred to Strathfield Medical Imaging many times since I moved to the area in 2008. This is the first time I've read the Google reviews and was very surprised to see negative comments about the reception staff, especially Carmen. Without exception, she has been absolutely professional, courteous and a delight to communicate with. I can back up the earlier comment made by management in her defence. As someone who has several chronic musculo-skeletal conditions and survived two forms of cancer, I know very well that circumstances regarding appointments can change and that patient care should be paramount. This is also a very busy practice most of the time, so they manage very well. All of the staff, including sonographers and radiographers have been more than courteous and I've noticed that they are the same with everyone. The general public can be difficult to deal with sometimes, so full marks to Strathfield Medical Imaging and their efficient turnaround with diagnosis and preparation of reports.

Yes, it's only human to be sick. Fair call.

That is what happened Friday on "the day" of the appointment.

That is fine.

Just as it was perfectly fine for another appointment to be made for 11am on Monday in the same breath.

What was "not" fine was Carmen then calling at 7.45am on Monday on the basis of an appointment being held at 8am on Monday. When quite clearly it was set as 11am on Friday.

Ok clerical error. Yet again, fair call.

Then it was discovered the appointment couldn't of been honoured at all.

Not the 8am, not the 11am. Neither.

"This is a major oversight."

With less than 2 hours notice, appointment had to be changed and made at another location.

Lastly, Carmen stated she is a manager by which my partner overhead this conversation. Please don't tell me that you condone employees stating their a higher job title than they currently hold.

Sorry to say service aren't that great to give more stars! my 12weeks ultrasound was booked in there but when I went they said I am 14weeks already so they can't do it anymore! Well your staff who gave me a booking should be aware of it why they gave me a wrong date? Should have given me a earlier date! I booked it more then 3weeks ago before the ultrasound date! Staffs are horrible!! They don't even know what they are doing!
