Strickland State Forest

Amazing place for a bush walk! Really get that rainforest feel walking to the waterfall or down by the creek. The upper loop trail feels a bit more bush as it is a different type of forest. Good little picnic area and not too crowded. Definitely a hidden gem of the Central Coast for amazing bush walking trails.

Great place for a walk, with doggie too (on leash)... Although beware of leeches... Eek!

Looping walks through the forest, each offering something for everyone of varying mobility. Clean and accessbile with a few cark parking locations for different starting points.

Cool bushland area, rainforest like. Being a state forest means you can take your dog for a walk.

Full of leeches. Be aware to tread carefully and check your dogs toes belly ears etc thoroughly before driving away...had 6 on my shoes and 7 on my dog!
