Worst experience bowling ive ever had.
It took them over 30 mins to set us up in lane with bumpers for my little brother and no bumpers for the rest of us playing, in the end they couldn't work it out.
If you like long waiting times, poor quality lanes and staff that cant fix your problem go to strike
Do yourself a favour and go to AMF..

Extremely disappointed. We called ahead to check that our brother (aged 17) would be able to play two games of laser tag with us as part of our cousins bucks night and were told that if we arrived by a certain time, then he could. We were there in time, paid for two games but waited upstairs for over 20 minutes. We reminded the staff to start our games and they said outright that they had forgotten. Our first game was done before 9pm and as we waited for the second game, security came up to rudely take our brother out, just after 9pm. We tried to explain the situation but he wouldn't listen. Management weren't any better. We would have finished both games before 9 if the staff were more attentive and didn't forget the group of 12 waiting for them. You'd think that after they had admitted to forgetting to start the game, an error on their part, that they would be more understanding. Especially irritating when we had called ahead to avoid this situation. Security wouldn't let our brother back in to say goodbye to everyone. We won't be returning. No one in our group was drinking, no alcohol is allowed upstairs and that's where we were. We understand licensing laws but if we were told when we called that this would be an issue, we would have gone elsewhere. Rude and disrespectful. Way to ruin a night.

Terrible service. Forgot to start our laser tag and we waited 20 minutes before they remembered, and that was only after we reminded them. Due to this delay, the under 18 person in our group was subsequently kicked out and not allowed to even say goodbye to the rest of the party. They also refused to refund our game we paid for prior to being kicked out. Won't be returning. Terrible end to a night. Wish I could give it zero stars.

Made a reservation here for Friday night for a game of bowling and karaoke, half way through our game a security guard came up to our group asking for ID. Each person was asked multiple times, even after showing him once. Two out of a group of sixteen people were under 18 and we were told that we had to leave. We were ordering no alcohol. We tried discussing this with staff member Lauren, who was adamant that because we ordered food and drink and played our game of bowling it was time for us to leave. We were refused karaoke, even though we payed for it prior, and were told we could not get a refund. Her only solution for our group was to leave, showing no interest to compromise the situation which was clearly at the fault of your vague employees. If being under 18 at a bowling alley is such a major concern for the business, why is this not told to people before making bookings over the phone, paying a deposit and then paying the full amount (with constant reminders) 4 days prior to the reservation???? You guys scam people for their money and then kick them out before they get full value of what they paid for. Interesting that a group next to us was having the exact same issue. Clearly not a one time occurrence here. Obviously just a money hungry business, unaccommodating towards dissatisfied customers and it shows through your employees. Won't ever be coming back here again, and will be sure to tell everyone else how disgusting the service is. Appalling.

Came here for a last minute fun because our nephew was in town. We went bowling which was fine, whilst paying for bowling the girl was very condescending but it was ignored. During bowling he decided he wanted to do laser tag. Not preparing for this I wore 'normal' shoes were high heels so I requested to keep the bowling shoes on, because no one wants a broken ankle. The women behind the desk said no you can wear your normal shoes, I explained that they were high heels her reply was "well there is no running so you'll get over it" in a very condescending manner, rolling her eyes. I explained they were high heels again, showed her and she raised her voice "there is no running". Regardless if there is running or not I really do not think high heels are appropriate, as this really is a WHS issue. Furthermore there is no need for a staff members to argue to a customer about safety. When I finished the laser tag I suggested that she should not recommend anyone in wearing high heels there was no reply what so ever just an eye roll. Appalling service. Will not be back.

My driver's licence was apparently 'fake' so I couldnt even get into the venue. First time I've ever heard this. Should I bring my RMS receipt from last year as proof? Absolute joke.

The service was honestly shocking...... we had our work party and they cut us off after we had had about 2 drinks each. The staff where so rude and had a massive attitude problem. Would not come back.

I came to strike for my birthday and had planned to go to jail brake the escape room. when we got in the tiny room there was little clues and when we called out staff member outside the young lady wasn't picking up the phone causing us serious delays, she was not doing her job properly. as well as the I pad not being able to read the barcode clues as well wasting us time. I don't suggest this place as it was extremely expensive for being locked in a room for an hour.

My friends and I waited 2hrs 10mins. We paid $10 for a booking at 3:20pm and turns out we weren't even put into the system. On top of that we only got one game out of the "unlimited" session and ended up waiting close to 3hrs for 1 game. We asked politely for a refund but the staff had refused. Their reason for this was that,"not everyone will get 2 or more games out of the unlimited games, that's why buyers rather pay $10 for a chance at unlimited rather than paying $12 for 1 single game". Yes some may argue that we are exaggerating over a $10 note. However I as a student know that money is not easy to come by. I have written this review not to try and get my money back, but to warn others of this laser tag. Please consider both your money and time before coming and buying the supposedly "unlimited" games. The only reason I gave 1 was because I could not give 0

Very poorly managed venue. Half of the time got wasted standing in the queue to book for each game of lazer tag and bowling. Could be improved with more staffs who could serve everyone quicker.

Disappointing song selection in the karaoke booth. I went last year and there was maybe one or two songs they didn't have out of all the ones I searched, but at some point since then, they've changed to a different system that is even more limited, which is surprising given it's powered by Spotify. There were so many times people would search for something and be disappointed it wasn't there. Also, the interface is kinda annoying, people kept accidentally switching to jukebox mode, which killed the current song and wiped out the song queue we had set up. Having said that, we were still able to pick enough songs that we enjoyed ourselves, but they definitely need a MUCH larger song collection.

Paid 27 bucks for two games of bowling. There are other bowling places that offer much better deals. We had to order their pizza, because their fryer was closed, but the pizza tasted like the frozen pizza you'd get from coles/woolies, not worth the 11 dollars. Overpriced food and drink. You can go to the food court downstairs or surrounding restaurants, you'd get more selection of tasty food at a more reasonable price.

I am furious about my experience tonight with Strike Bowling Escape Room.

Firstly, I booked a room for 9pm online and arrived with the players before the allotted time. We were instructed to be seated and someone else was to take us to the room. At 9:20pm, after being left unattended and not being informed of anything, I asked one of the staff at the front counter what was happening with my 9pm booking. Only then was I told that the room was to start at 9:30pm so there is time to be instructed of the rules and regulations. This should have been mentioned previously or should have been done immediately on 9pm, to start the room at 9:10, allowing the 50 minutes for the room and 10 minutes for the briefing, all to be included in the hour. This 30 minutes left alone near the bar feels like a management ploy to fleece you of your money, tempting people with overpriced drinks and food.

Secondly, the room itself and the props left a lot to be desired. Now I understand that Strike Bowling has these rooms set up as a fast cash grab escape room, where all the 'puzzles' are number lock combinations because they are fast and easy. However, we were supplied a broken flash light at the beginning to use through an entire poorly lit room. At the end when we spoke to the staff member who let us out the response was "oh, really?", not "yes we purposely leave broken tools around so you can get the actual 'escape' experience, it was all part of the plan". This problem in itself cost a good 10 minutes of time where one of the players had to modify the batteries to use the flash light, while the other members were left stumbling in the dark.

Another glaring obvious problem was a missing key, which was no where to be found. The cabinet that it would have opened would have contained vital information for puzzles throughout the room. We did have to use the QR system in place for answers, when we did and then retraced what the answer was we were unable to locate the item because we simply did not have access to it. There is obviously no proper quality control system in place for the set up of these rooms and items which are needed are missing or broken.

In summary, tonight has been the worst 'escape room' experience that I have ever had and the only reason that I did not make a scene and demand my money back is that I am to polite. However, I believe that anyone even considering booking an 'escape room' with Strike Bowling be forewarned that they will leave you waiting because you have already forked over $150 and the product they supply is broken beyond repair.
