SNAP [Student Nurses as Professionals] Club of the University of Wollongong.

SNAP aims to run exciting and engaging events for nursing students alike and to always keep you up-to-date with what’s happening in the School of Nursing at UOW!

The aim of our club is to enhance the experience of students studying nursing at the University of Wollongong, as well as to provide access to professional development opportunities to students.


Our Club's objectives are to promote the professionalism and caring nature of Students studying nursing at the University of Wollongong and to enhance collaboration with other health professionals.

Some of the activities we would like to do are:



Weekly study sessions.
Unibar meet ups.
hold lunchtime seminars that are relevant to nursing.
facilitate professional development opportunities.
networking events.
fundraising for charity.

This club is run by nursing students for the benefit of nursing students so please feel free to share some ideas. We will have a facebook page up and running soon so we can share some more info of what is coming up in the near future.
