Sulphide Street Railway& Historical Museum Description

The Sulphide Street Railway & Historical Museum Complex is the spiritual home of the Silverton Tramway Company Limited that provided rail passenger and freight service to the community of Broken Hill from 1888 to 1970. The museum houses the memorabilia of the STC including locomotives that are all accessible to the public.
