Summer Salt Restaurant Description

Whether it’s a leisurely lunch or swift business meeting, the inviting and intimate environment will certainly not disappoint. The stylish modern interior is only outdone by the stunning views.

Summer Salt’s cuisine can be best described as ‘East meets West’, Contemporary Australian enhanced with Asian Flavours. Executive Chef and Owner Carl Jensen is no stranger to the ‘Shire’ and has been serving up his best Australian produce for over 20 years.

Sommelier, Noel Sorrenti, has a great deal of experience with wines from all over the world, including France, where he is originally from. Noel loves his wine and suggesting what will go best with your chosen meal.

Summer Salt is one of only two restaurants in Sydney that serve Grade 9 Wagyu Beef. This is a must-try! As well as the Chef's Signature Dish, Roast Duck. There's also a fantastic Seafood Plate for One (delicious! ) Visit our website to check out the full menu.

Our Chef's Market Menu is GREAT VALUE at 2 courses for $45 and 3 courses for $55.

Always sensational food and fabulous service. Have never been disappointed, or even just satisfied. Have walked out every time with a smile on our faces and stomachs full of the best food you'll eat in the Shire, and possibly Sydney.

This is a lovely restaurant with fine food and a lovely view. However at just on $200 for 2 courses for 2 people which included a couple of drinks, this is pushing it to the extreme. That would have been OK and more palatable except having to wait 1 hour for the entree and then another 50 minutes for the main which only came after we complained about the time taken. Something obiviously went wrong as others arriving well after us had finished 3 courses before we received our mains. Whilst the meals were very good, they were only luke warm, not straight out from the kitchen. In the end, we left without desert or coffee as we did not want to wait another hour. Left a bad impression on us especially as we had our 40th anniversary there. The restaurant was full but that is no excuse. Such a shame as we left not satisfied

Dined here for my husband's birthday. I was really hoping to enjoy the dishes - but our seafood platter for two tasted overly salty. There wasn't much layer of flavours. The stuffed zucchini was lovely, though.

Wonderful location and beautiful scenery!! Food is high standard and staff are friendly. There are different special meal deals during the week. Price is reasonable and worth trying.
