Happy to say we have teamed up with the guys from Honorbread - fresh deliveries of their beautiful sourdough loaves every Wednesday and Friday.

Wishing all our customers a wonderful Xmas. We will be closed Xmas day but will reopen on Boxing Day morning at 6.30am - 11am for coffee and breakfast. Normal trading will resume on Wednesday from 7am.

hi everyone, there's a change of hours this week in the shop. we'll be closed Anzac Day, Wednesday and Thursday for a bit of post-school holiday recovery - re-opening Friday morning at 7am for coffee. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Some delicious choices of cake today including a Persian Love cake a Key Lime Tart and a Black Forest Cheesecake. Plus all the usual fresh salads, wraps and Turkish Rolls and of course sensational coffee all to be enjoyed overlooking beautiful Surfbeach.

Today's home made specials include: baked lemon and ricotta cheesecake, chocolate brownies, chocolate and caramel cups and Armeniun walnut and nutmeg slice. Serious yum right there!!

Lunchtime is looking good with the great choices from the display cabinet. Try a healthy frittata and salad or roast beef, salad and home made hummus wrap or some yummy pumpkin soup.

surf beach resident 'percy' came into the cafe today looking for a chip

The fish was yummy but the chips were pretty dry and the chicken burger bun was burnt, had a few bits of half dead lettuce and a piece of tomato, not really edible. Was a little disappointed unfortunately. The service was friendly however- I was contacted by Paul who was apologetic and offered a complimentary lunch

This is the dirtiest place to eat on the coast. My egg from my bacon and egg roll was black with charcoal all over it. I didn't get any apology or even an offer to return my money. I Would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone.This place deserves no stars for service or food

Nooooooooo!!!! What happened?!? This used to be an old school takeaway with good old fashioned fish and chips etc. I come back after a few years and now its a 'hipster style cafe' selling basically coffee and cake. I mean, they still sell burgers etc, but the pricing! Woah! Black modern colour scheme, sit down coffee. The old takeaway is gone! No more decent burgers, expensive fish & chips. Now I have to go across the road to the other place for proper takeaway food at decent pricing at Surf Beach. The coffee is ok (hence not one star), but the prices for everything on the menu is higher than average. Disappointing :(.

I had the best coffee at the Surf Beach Cafe and Takeaway while I was visiting the Batemans Bay area in October. Lovely spot.
