Carl the psychologist has a down to earth honest approach. I like his insights and seeing the big picture in the current state of the world today. I've seen him twice and plan on keeping my visits up.

I was a new patient at Surry Hills Medical Centre. At first glance I look at the centre to be very clean and pleasant the Asian Male Receptionist with an American accent was very polite and very friendly. Coming from the US he made me so at ease and relax, while waiting to be check by the Dr. He is very professional and well mannered. I would highly recommend this receptionist. He's approach to the new patient like me is very welcoming. Its feels like your in a top high class lounge the way he speak and interact with every patient that he was serving. Another reception that looks like an Indian middle age lady, was also very friendly and always smile. The Indian Doctor that treated me was not bad at all. Thank you Surry Hills Medical Centre for employing such a polite and friendly staff. Alota ( not my real name) From Puerto Rico

Dr Jahan is very understanding and doesn't rush you. Patholgy on the spot. No appointments for better and worse.

The worst doctor! I saw the doctor photographed on the site. Whilst the receptionist was friendly on the phone, that's where the service ended. I arrived at the time the receptionist said they opened. 1) I was the only person there and waited 45 minutes to see a doctor. 2) The only reason I had to wait was because none of the doctors had arrived at work yet! 3) I saw the doctor for less than 3 minutes (still had to pay for a full consultation obviously) as he decided what was wrong with the fewest of checks and questions. 4)When I tried to tell him how I felt he was rude and spoke over me, rather than listening to me. 5) He talked down pharmacists and it was only thanks to these pharmacists I ended up taking the correct products and dosages. 6) The doctor had prescribed some prescription meds and cough syrup and when I asked him if there was only one kind ( ie dry/ wet cough) he again talked over me and told me there was only one based on what he had written down. Of course there was more than 1 kind! Luckily the pharmacist was really helpful and listened to my symptoms and helped me to choose the correct product. 7) The doctor had told me to take 2 Tablespoons of cough syrup. The Pharmacist advised me this was 8 TIMES the recommended dosage. What more can I say?

In defence of the other Drs that work at the medical centre it's such a shame that Dr Naidu works there. You must feel frustrated and disappointed that such an arrogant revolving door doctor that doesn't give a damn about his patients, is completely incompetent to the point of malpractice and is abusive to the lovely receptionist actually works with you.

DO NOT GO HERE!
My usual medical centre on Bourke St Waterloo were closed today and these guys were the only place I could get in. Not surprised why now - the first 'Dr' I saw was Trevor Tingate. Instead of explaining options for me other than the one I had incorrectly asked about he completely dismissed me in an incredibly rude manner and refused me any treatment options at all. I am not a rude person but my facial expression told him I was disappointed and perplexed so he then followed me out of the room berating me. I had to get some sort of treatment options so waited for the next Doctor who actually helped me.

'Dr' Tingate didnt seem to have the basic, broad knowledge typical for medical centres - perhaps his hostility and rudeness stems from that insecurity and why he behaved like a moron instead of a health professional. Someone ought to check that his credentials are correct...

We are so sad to see Dr Nicole leave Tyner rd Medical Centre. She is intelligent and caring. She is the only Dr who understands babies. My baby likes her and doesn't cry when she examines him. Surry Hills Medical Centre is lucky to have recruited her.

Don't go to this place! They open at 9, their website says 8am. The doctor strolls in at 9.30 then eventually sees me at 9.40! My questions he's 'not an expert on!' So googles in front of me. Then quotes 'guess it's sort of my responsibility to give you advice!' Won't be back!!
