I blog primarily about reducing the toxic chemicals in our homes. It turns out that women who work from home, or stay at home with children, are 54% more likely to die of cancer than those who don't.

At the same time, we now know that kids with ultra clean homes aren't more likely to have allergies because of the lack of exposure to dirt, but because they are exposed to more toxic chemicals in the cleaning products.

So I teach people to reduce their reliance on toxic cleaning products and also to look at the chemicals in their skin care, plastic wraps, and so on.
