Sales staff are not pushy at all. A welcome relief for car buyers

My wife has tried to contact suttons by phone, text, email, and Facebook message TWICE. We have received no reply, so now we are posting publicly.

We had numerous problems with the car service a few weeks ago.

First of all, we paid for a 44,000 kilometre service, although the car (a fiat 500) was only just due for a 30,000 service/July service (whichever came first). I'm very unsure about why we seem to have received a 44,000 km service and skipped the 30,000? The car is only just at 31,000 kms now. The next service is written on my car sticker as being 41,944 kms. How's that possible, once again, if we've already had the 44,000 service?

Secondly, we specifically asked for help with a few important things when the car was dropped off. We've had problems with the clock being consistently behind. It doesn't matter how often we fix up the time, it slows down and within a few days is entirely wrong. Also had issues the radio/aux. My wife let one of your team know that some radio stations do not let us automatically connect to them, for example, Nova 96.9 will play one second of audio and then consistently go blank for twenty or thirty seconds before it reconnects. This has been going on for almost a year. The aux will connect to her phone, but will not allow her to play music or give traffic directions as it used to.

She was promised that these problems would be sorted out, and absolutely NOTHING at all has been done about them. No one even tried to reset the clock. I'm very very disappointed.

Finally, the car was not cleaned. This is the second time that this has happened. I know that cleaning is factored in to the cost of service, so all things considered, it really makes us feel like you're just taking our money and not doing anything at all?

Would really love to have this sorted out. Would also be good for you to start manning your emails and Facebook page, all we received were automatic replies saying you'd get back to us soon, which of course you never did.

Last week my partner and I went shopping at suttons waitara to look for a new vehicle. We were greeted by nikki, a lovely young sales consultant, who made us feel very comfortable and guided us through the showroom. This was one of our best car shopping experiences. Nikki was very informative and answered all of our questions very patiently. We ended up purchasing a new Kia Rio which I am extremely happy with. Thank you nikki and staff for your professional help and patience with us.

Great to be offered free car wash as an extra in the car purchase but it would be nice if they made it happen. We have to travel to use this service and try to incorporate it in our transit visits to Sydney from the Central Coast. Every time we go there it is closed or the line up is very long and the poor staff member responsible is running between jobs copping abuse from patrons having to wait in the long line. It is our understanding that staff cuts have caused this issue. Promises, promises oh well what do you expect from a car salesman. Sutton's get your act together with after sales promises after all it's all about returning customers coming back to but their next vehicle.
