The Swing Pit - 2nd and 4th Fridays of the Month.
Swing Pit is held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month. This is a beginner-friendly night for those who feel they need a bit more social dancing. All dancers from Beginners to Advanced are most welcome! A couple of times a year Swing Pit Live brings live bands to social dancing at the Swing Pit. Check it out.
A little secret hip dance floor in the heart of Newtown. A great mix of music, DJs and dancers. The class before the social night is anchored by Trish and Derek, and is a great way to break the ice and meet some dancers before the evening really gets under way!
If you are a new dancer, come and enjoy watching some of Sydney's finest swing dancers in action - or ask them for a dance! The Swing Pit has had many international and interstate guests who rave about the vibe and is known as the swing event not to be missed!
Swing Pit classes are beginner focused with fun and simple content to get you swinging out in style. Join us for a class and stick around to try out your moves on the social dance floor.

Times:
7pm - Intermediate level swing dancing class
8pm - Beginners swing dancing class (open to all levels)
9pm - Social dancing until 11pm
Costs:
$16 = 1 Class + Social
$24 = 2 Classes + Social
$8 = Social Dancing Only
