Sydney Children'S Hospital Art Program Description

The Sydney Children's Hospital Art Program is managed by the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation and is honoured to be sponsored by major partner Louis Vuitton Australia as our major supporter from 2012 onwards.

The Program's motto is "Art Celebrating Life". Our mission is manifold; to make the Hospital a vibrant, reassuring and colourful place of healing and culture, where children feel safe and happy, to develop a unique and significant collection which serves the Hospital community and beyond, and also to provide a forum where leading and emerging artists and art institutions can engage with new audiences to produce exciting collaborations that complement the Hospital’s key health care responsibilities and benefit the wider community.

For more information, contact the Art Program on 02 9382 1188 or find out more about the Foundation here: http://www. facebook.com/?ref=home #! /pages /Sydney-Childrens-Hospital-Foundation /38223706738

Some beautiful work made recently by a student in the Sydney Children's Hospital School led by artist Tully Arnot. This was made with a low cost form of etching using Styrofoam boards and pencils. Do try at home!
