This place is fantastic for those who are health conscious. Famous for their #glutenfree pancakes, they have a well labeled menu that even lists the calories and macros of every menu item. I thoroughly approve!
But the most important factor is how it tastes and I'm happy to say that, despite priding myself on making exceptional gluten free pancakes, these were definitely the most delicious I...'ve ever tasted.
Enriched with rice protein, but not at all heavy. Topped with #dairyfree coconut ice cream that wasn't too sweet.

Sunday morning high protein paleo pancakes.
Recipe (serves 2-3) -1/3rd cup tapioca flour -1/3rd cup almond flour... -1/3rd cup Hemp protein -1/3rd cup coconut cream -1/3rd cup water - 2 eggs - 1 tablespoon maple syrup or coconut nectar
- To garnish: Coconut cream and strawberries
Directions: - Mix all ingredients except maple syrup together until forms a smooth batter. - Cook over a medium heat with a well greased pan. Use your measuring cup (1/3rd cup size) and measure out approximately 1/3rd of it per pancake. - Flip when edges appear firm. Stack high on a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup and top with other garnish ingredients. - Snap your creation and don't forget to tag us! - Enjoy!

Volunteers needed! Last year I spent 10 days volunteering in Myanmar with @exousia.org.au training nursing and midwifery students in Nutrition.
The time we spent there was incredible. The Burmese people are the kindest and most grateful students I've ever come across and they simply drunk up every drop of the information.
We began with the absolute basics -what are carbohydrates, fats, proteins, what are they needed for. What do they do, how are they metabolized etc.
... Then we moved on to preventing and treating diabetes, heart disease, parasites, nutrition for pregnancy etc.
At times it was as simple as recommending enough water. The Burmese people, including nursing students, often avoid water as they don't like to sweat or to need to use the toilets (often just squat holes). They didn't know the value, necessity, or the daily requirements.
At other times it was differentiating between foods that heal and foods that do damage. Discussing easily accessible foods like instant noodles, msg and commercial dairy products that are doing harm to the Burmese population.
I can't begin to tell you how much this time meant, how it changed me and how fulfilling the experience was. Unfortunately due to personal and family commitments I'm unable to attend this year. Now it's your turn.

Last night's delicious veggie and potato pie fresh out of the oven. So hot and steamy. Just what I needed!
Recipe serves 3-4 and takes 20-30 minutes from start to finish.
Ingredients:... 路路 2 cups chopped potatoes (I used kipfler) 路路 400 g or 1 tin of cooked brown lentils (drained and rinsed well) 路路 1 tin crushed tomatoes 路路 1 cup chopped leek 路路 1 grated carrot 路路 1 cup finely chopped Brussels sprouts 路路 1 onion 路路 2 large cloves garlic (always organic and local) 路路 1 cup green peas, frozen is fine 路路 1 cup grated Cheese is optional. Can also cook without or use a nut cheese like macadamia fetta. 路路 Olive oil, salt, pepper, nutmeg, four spice 路路 Baking pan or loaf tin
Directions: 路路 Place potatoes in a small pan to boil until soft 路路 Heat oven to 200 degrees 路路 In a large fry pan add leek, onion, garlic, Brussels sprouts, and a tbsp of oil. Heat the oil with the ingredients stirring regularly. 路路 Add a pinch of nutmeg and four spice and stir to coat all ingredients. 路路 After onions have browned, add carrot and lentils and stir continuously to soften. 路路 Now add crushed tomatoes, 1 cup of water and green peas. Allow to simmer until sauce reduces and thickens. 路路 Once potatoes are ready, drain and mash. Add a little salt, pepper and a drizzle of oil. If you're using cheese combine half with the potatoes now. 路路 When the sauce has thickened, spoon into a loaf tin (if you have very fussy eaters you could add to a food processor or blender first to rid yourself of all veggie evidence. However be careful with a blender as blending hot ingredients can cause explosions). 路路 Top with a layer of mashed potato. Then coat with any remaining cheese if using. Otherwise a layer of pepper and a little more salt. 路路 Place into the oven or under the grill to brown the cheese. This will take around 5 minutes or so.

Sometimes the simple meals, made from leftover ingredients turn out to be the best. Here's another 10 minute meal and another favorite to add to the list.
Ingredients: - 1/3rd of a can of organic four bean mix - 2 x small size charisma potatoes ... - 1 cup baby spinach - 1 clove of garlic - 2tbsp olive oil - 3tsp mustard powder - 1tsp fetta (I used macadamia feta) - salt, pepper and thyme (optional)
Directions: - Dice the potatoes and place in a pan to boil for 6 minutes or until soft - Once cooked add all ingredients into a frying pan and stir fry. - Finally season with a pinch of Himalayan rock salt, black peppercorns and a sprig of thyme.
It's a simple meal but totally delicious and all super healthy ingredients. If tie a textural eater you'll love the soft and silky feel to the dish as the potatoes, feta, oil and mustard powder coats the whole dish.
This was a serious win. I was just happy with making something that didn't require a trip to the supermarket.

This is one of the most delicious combinations I've ever eaten. Are you ready for this?
Botanical cuisines Persian style macadamia fetta!!! (Omg)
... Spread on Earth to Table Orange, turmeric and poppy seed biscotti. (Double omg)
These two together are like a delicious cheesecake. The biscotti is just sweet enough to make it feel like a sweet treat.
And oh that macadamia fetta. It's even better than you might be imagining. It's hands down the best vegan cheese I've ever come across. And it's all natural! No preservatives, additives or unhealthy trans fats seen in many other vegan cheeses.
Tip: I bought the fetta on my way home prior to heading to the gym and walking around 30 mins with it bouncing around in my bag. Unfortunately a few cubes were lost in the process. Though they are dissolved into the oil so all is not lost. But keep the jar stored and secured well while in transit to avoid this.

Amazing pre-birthday treats at Earth to Table Bondi.
Earth to Table offers a vegan, gluten free and sugar free menu. There are loads of delicious savoury options, divine desserts and a beautiful all day breakfast menu.
Mine was the fluffy toast, delicious topped with a raspberry jam, cashew butter and fresh banana slices. A delicious pink pataya smoothie filled with baobab, goji berries and Dragon fruit. I highly recommend both options.
... I also enjoyed a beetroot latte before leaving and picked up some treats for later.

#homemade chunky vegetable soup with crunchy #glutenfree garlic bread.
A great choice for packing in the veggies on a cold and windy night.
Tip: garlic bread is easy. Get some rolls, slice in every direction, drizzle oil and pack with crushed garlic. Bake for 5 minutes to get them nice and crunchy.

I sampled some of the #newmenu items at @aboutlifenm today which cater for the #eggfree #dairyfree #glutenfree and #vegan
Here is the vegan scrambled eggs with smashed avocado, tomatoes, coriander and sweet chili sauce. I got mine on #paleo bread which was crunchy and delicious - a great contrast to the gooey goodness on top.
While not exactly like scrambled eggs, this was certainly a good substitute and a great protein breakfast option for those with food restrictions. The ...taste and texture was very enjoyable and it kept me full for many hours.
I also paired this with the immunity juice - a blend of Orange, pineapple, cinnamon and lemon juice. This was too yummy for words. A great combination and highly recommended.
All topped off with the company of a beautiful friend. A very pleasurable start to a Monday off 馃槉馃槉
