Every year averagely 3 million plastic straws are used in Australia and more of these end up in the ocean. From now on, as a part of #sydneydoesntsuck campaign we've stopped using plastic straws.

All ingredients of the prawn linguini are waiting to be tasted on the fork. Who wants a go?

Bring the whole family together!
Freshly-shucked mouth watering Sydney Rock or Pacific oysters are the perfect way to start Father’s Day. Indulge dad with our famous split prawns, tempt him with our delicately seared swordfish or char-grilled octopus as he soaks up the sun on our beautiful harbour…
Then tantalise his taste buds with our signature seafood hot-pot, a perfectly-cooked steak or a plate of fish and chips. Add a beer so cold and refreshing that dad will feel just h...ow much you love him.
Of course there are prawns, bugs, crab, fish, linguini and not to mention champagne and cocktails for all the wonderful Mums.
Oh yes, there is a kids menu for our little guests too.
Your dad will thank you for it!

Judges Review:
“Now in its 30th year, Sydney Cove Oyster Bar continues to lead the way, presenting a wine list perfectly in tune with seafood. Not only do sparkling and white wines step up to play a significant role, but it's the attention to little things that sets this list apart. Rose and chilled reds, so plummy and light in tannins, not to mention pinot noir and cool climate shiraz and syrah all play essential roles. The list is primarily Australian in style with a number of alt-styles, orange and biodynamic makers. The odd European break out is all class such as the trio of aged whites from the Jura.”

Disappointed with the recent menu change. Tamarind prawns are gone. Please bring them back 🙏. The scallops were minuscule (but not the price) and the beef was not tender. Looking for a new favourite restaurant. The service was ok.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I am a very hard marker. I took my wife here for lunch, on her birthday, last week.. The service was impeccable, the waiters were polite and the food was of the highest quality. We asked if we could sit right up to the railing next to the water and were told politely that the tables were reserved. A short time later a table became vacant, at the waters edge, so our waiter asked if we would like to move, which we did. The restaurant was a memorable experience. I would give the venue and the staff more stars if I could.

Superb seafood selection, meaty and oh the best you can try in Sydney. The wife loves the crabs and prawns with a glass of white wine. The best place to go to for lunch with a lovely view of the Sydney bridge

User

Great lunchtime location. A bit pricey but normal for this area. Service and food were excellent. Viewed are fantastic.

This restaurant is absolutely superb, from the service to the food. We have visited several times and wouldn't change a single thing. Highly recommended!

User

It was a very beautiful lunch with my wife. We were next to the water and with a great quality of food. Don't get confuse they have beautiful fish but the meat was simply great. I recommend this place 100%.

User

Yum oysters and prawns in a great setting. Bit pricey though but only to be expected given the location

User

Location can't be beat. Food was fresh and well prepared. Really enjoyed the shellfish platter.

User

Superb attentive service. Beautiful food presented impeccably. Cant get a better spot to have lunch on the best harbour in the world.

Located along Circular Quay, this restaurant is right by the water with views of the Harbour Bridge across the water & Opera House further in front. It is busy even at lunch time with a lot of tourists both local and international. I felt as if I were one of them being on vacation having lunch here on a weekday. There is an extensive wine list which is perfect when you have an afternoon to enjoy and not rush. The menu is seafood focused with a good range of choices. Starters of scallops & grilled scampi with lemon & herb butter were both delicious. But the grilled scallops with pork belly was so good & the favourite. For mains, it was a platter of fresh & oysters and prawns & a whole flounder that was ordered. The seafood were all fresh and simply prepared. It was good quality, sweet and delicious but nothing fancy. Service was friendly and efficient. It was an enjoyable experience & slightly indulgent for a weekday lunch!
