Great service and more importantly, honest, reliable advice.
So I decided to buy an E-bike for my daily commute to work. After spending 3 weeks researching online I arrived at Sydney Electric Bikes knowing all there was to know about E-Bikes... Turns out I had no idea what I was after and what the best bike for me was... But thanks to the staff giving me the right advice (as opposed to just telling me what I wanted to hear) and letting me ride multiple bikes, I purchased the right bike for me. 4 weeks on I'm riding it and loving it every day and haven't regretted my purchase once.. So if you want to buy an E-Bike, do it they're awesome, and also visit Sydney Electric Bikes. You'll get the right advice and get to ride as many bikes as you like...

We went to 3 electric bike shops and found Sydney Electric Bikes gave us lots of time to make up our minds, gave us lots of different bikes to test... and then test again. Jake and the boys were patient with we older riders and even though everyone was very busy they took time to answer each of our questions and point out the differences between brands and configurations. Excellent service, thanks guys.

This is easily one of the best e-bike specialists in the area. Jake and his team are super knowledgeable and they've amassed an impressive range! Would recommend dealing with these guys for any sales and services you might need.

Exceptional value for money with the servicing also; having been "introduced" to a taxi to whom road rules appear to be a suggestion only, I was amazed that the repairs, replacements and labour came to under $250! Absolute bargain!

I must have recommended them verbally to hundreds of people but 1st time online.

Annual running costs are less than 6 months rego alone.

An electric bike is quite the investment and you'd hope that you're paying top dollar for a good product. Be wary of SEB's "home brand" conversion kits which are cheep junk made in China and once you hand over your $$ know that you're on your own!

I cannot advise you strongly enough to shop elsewhere.

Paid 2k for a customised electric bike that needed repair or replacement parts almost weekly. Every time I returned to have the bike looked at there would be at least 2 or 3 other customers in the same position.

The owner was incredibly aggressive, constantly tried to blame me(and other customers) for problems with the bike.

Eventually I just gave up and stripped the shoddy electric components off.

Absolute waste of time and money for the privilege of being treated like absolute garbage.

Good range of e-bikes. Service not always the best, and unfortunately I have noticed over and over their quote are always wrong. If they say $50, it will be $80. If they say $80, it will end up being $110 when you go and pick it up. At one point I got so frustrated I just stopped being their costumer.
Bought a defective turn signal, told them when I got to pick up my over-estimated repair bike, and haven't even offered a refund. That was it. This was few years ago, but unless they changed owners, I would be surprised if things changed.

Absolutely outstanding product, service, customer service and all round awesomeness :) I first spoke to Matt (Owner) when my electric scooter broke down and the business my temporarily closed for renovations. I asked if I could hire an electric bike and he had no hesitation in helping me out straight away. The staff there were so helpful in giving me the 'Low Down' on the electric bike, being so helpful with all the 'ins and outs' of the bike. The attention to detail of the intricacies of the bike made the experience very calming for me. Can't emphasize enough how amazing the bike is also. 10/10! Thanks Sydney Electric Bikes!

SUPER HELPFUL AND FUN! These guys took their time to show me pretty much every bike in the shop, and let me ride all over Pyrmont on each of them. When I finally decided which one I liked best, they let me try out my commute on it and bring it back the next morning. After all, I decided to get a different apartment with a shorter commute - but I am kinda sad that I won't be zipping around town on one of these fun bikes.

Never been to the shop, but ordered from them online when living in WA and NZ. Will continue to do so.

They make sure you get the exact products you need, not just what you think you need. Delivery is fast and prices seem very reasonable, but can't compare as no other shop even carries the spare parts for my e-motion I think. 5 stars.

These guys know customer service. We arrived at closing time with flat on my sons bike. They stayed back, repaired the flat, adjusted the brakes and all the while giving my 10yr old some bike maintenence tips. Saved us a tough long trip home. Thank you.

Very helpful and friendly staff during my purchase of a kick scooter a year ago.
When it brought it in for a stem issue, they were very proactive and efficient in identifying and fixing the problem right then and there.

If I were to consider getting an electric bike in the future, I'll be going to SEB for the buy.

The staff at SES were really chillaxed and not salesy at all. Tony the mechanic is always super friendly and wearing a cheeky smile on his face. Sean and Jake were very patient with me and my 1001 questions and even encouraged me to try as many bikes as I could.

Come in for a visit and you will be like a little kid in a candy store - the variety is delectable and there is definitely something for everyone. Second hand bikes, classic vintage bikes, muscle bikes, luxury bikes, folding bikes, cargo, road, mountain, race bikes......... etc etc etc

Whenever I walk in, they are super busy, but that hasn't gotten in the way of their care and service. Jake is extremely responsive and always puts in 100% to help you the best he can. Plus he's always wearing a Bike themed t-shirt - how dope is that!

1 week with my new electric Brompton and already can't imagine life without it. It's an amazing little thing. Thanks SES! xx
