I have been coming here for 6 months now have had a mixed experience with this hospital. I first attended one night when my eye flared up in excruciating pain for Recurrent Corneal Erosion Syndrome. I was rushed to hospital by ambulance and have visited for over a year.

I started in emergency then moved to the AOS Clinic. I then moved to the Bi - Centenial Clinic. The hospitals policies around Recurrent Corneal Erosion Syndrome failed to thoroughly diagnose and deliver an appropriate treatment method for over a year. The doctor's were not accountable for this poorly drafted policy and had various treatement methods which altogether cause insidious and disastrous pain and suffering.

They were unaware of what to do with my condition and offered very slow unsuccessful treatment methods. Many of the doctors avoided responsibility and lacked the skill or knowledge to take the appropriate actions needed to cure me of the problem. I regularly suffered painful contact lense replacements from several doctors.

There were doctors who attempted to supply care while adhering to the ridiculous policy. After a long time Nick Toalster performed for successful micro - puncture eye surgery which has since cured me.

Nursing staff can vary, with some bright and cheerful and some wishing they could just go home.

Being part of the treatment policies and crowd at the hospital often made feel like dying.

Expect long waiting times and load of other people. Hopefully one day we will not have hospitals that operate with such blindingly vicious patient policies but I am confident they will continue to make you suffer and wait while they keep you just alive enough to feel the incredible amount of pain that you receive by simply being part of the public health care system.

Great people from start to finish. Super heros doing miracles Even though they are so busy. First they saved my finger and my second accident they fixed my thumb. My hand wouldn't be complete with out the decated staff. Thanks so so much.

Terrible customer service. Worst experience ever. The lady at the reception was super rude. I had to go back to get my dressing changed and as soon as she saw me she started yelling at me because the last I was there "I left without paying " which it's wrong. My bill was paid TWICE (for me and my insurance) and had to wait 3 MONTHS for the hospital to refund the money. I tried to explain this to her but never listened. Definitely not going back there.

My son had an accident where he sliced his finger and had to have surgery..on a Sunday. I could not have asked for a better service. The staff were absolutely amazing. They took the time to explain everything and made my son feel at ease. Val in emergency was exceptional! Thank you Sydney hospital for a positive experience

Unfortunately I cannot do minus 5 stars!..As I was a young homeless they tried to kill me, I was away from all other patients & if my sister did not yell at the head of nursing, they would have killed me! I was 17 and after they performed a straight forward surgery after my sister went psycho, 10yrs later and all abilities to have children taken because they left something nasty in me which shredded my reproductive system! A week after being in that place, I went to my local gp & told him what they had done, He promptly rang the hospital to find that they had destroyed all records of my stay there! When the object left in me was taken out & the doctor who removed it said by the discolouration of the plastic it had been in me for 10yrs I WAS 27 when it was pulled out...It actually broke out through the vaginal cavity on it's own! For the 10yrs that it was in me I had so many unexplained infections & many exploratory surgeries but they could never find it!

I have been coming here for 6 months now have had a mixed experience with this hospital. I first attended one fateful night when my eye flared up in excruciating pain for Recurrent Corneal Erosion Syndrome. I was rushed to hospital by ambulance and have been visiting ever since.

I started in emergency then moved to the AOS Clinic. I am now in the Bi - Centenial Clinic. Where this hospital fails is it's consistency and long wait times. The doctor's are not accountable and had various treatement methods which altogether failed. They were unaware of what to do with my condition and offered very slow unsuccessful treatment methods. Many of the doctors avoided responsibility and some lack the skill altogether. I suffered a terrible contact lense replacement from one doctor which probably caused more pain then helped.

There are doctors here who really hold this place up though. James kudos and thank you for the micro - puncture eye surgery. You are really in a field of your own. Ebony Smith! Amanda, and all the rest of you who haven't managed to destroy me. Some of you have a terrible attitude though and really have no idea what you are doing as well as how to explain to a patient exactly what is happening to them and why. It pays to know how to explain things ... you are doctor after all.

Nursing staff can vary as well; with some of the bright and cheerful and some wishing they could just go home.

All in all I am grateful that I am able to continue to attend this hospital and they can do something but sometimes .. I do lose hope and pray for a miracle...

Expect long waiting times and load of other people. With nursing staff, doctors doing the best that they can. THANK GOD FOR public health care system it may be terrible sometimes but at least we have doctors to go to...

Great hospital staff are the best you can get service is good food is extremely great. But when you have to wait 6 day to see a surgeon then you now who have a problem I can't blame the doctor's for this as it happened 3 days be Christmas. I just wanted the job done probably so I don't have to go back but it looks like I might lose my fingers or the hand.
