Had my car key cut with them, paid $135 for the whole key 2 months later the key cracked where the screw holds it together. Took it back. The guy there said it was a common problem, (but not a fault in his expert opinion) and he was not prepared to replace it. I had to send it off to his supplier to see if they could do anything but he doesn't think they will as it doesn't look like a fault... he was very aggressive came out all defensive and shouting at me then walked out the back and slammed the door. Just wish they would have told me it was a common problem and not just sold it to me. Very rude!!!

Note!! After reading other reviews and feedback it seems this is a common line of defense for these people. They answer rudely and aggressively even in their google review's. Wish i had have read these reviews before. But it does look like they have had a few friends write some good ones for them...

Prompt, friendly and efficient service from Alejandro and Louise changing all the locks on my elderly relative’s house. Courtesy and helpfulness above and beyond the norm. I would highly recommend this company.

DO NOT USE SYDNEY LOCKSMITH, the owner is lazy, very unprofessional and extremely overpriced.
I have found 2 locksmiths that are based in Sydney and are very reasonable in comparison.

Buffalo locksmith 02-9809-0294 (I recently used this company to re-key 1 lock. I was quoted an $88 calling fee then $45 to re-key. Sydney locksmith quoted my Mum (for the exact same job) $450.00.

Eastern suburbs locksmith - 02-9313-4900 - I have not used this company but it couldn't be any more than Sydney Locksmith

THIS IS NOT A MALICIOUS THREAT IT IS A FACT - you sent in your 13 year old daughter to finish off the job and that is what I found UNPROFESSIONAL. I did ask for a discount which was flatly refused. You did not discuss options for an hour either, it was closer to 10 minutes

FIND AN ALTERNATIVE LOCKSMITH - I recently needed a locksmith as my back door needed a new lock. The lack of customer service given by the owner was appalling, I did not receive a call to let me know when he was coming and waited all day. He finally arrived at 5:20pm. Then to my amazement he sent in his 13 year old daughter (while he sat in the air conditioned car)to install the lock into my back door. $350.00 for 10 mins work. I found this totally unprofessional and will never use their service again. I highly recommend that you find an alternative locksmith

Customer service was the best I have received in Australia- genuinely helping me make the correct purchase with expert knowledge and experience of product, chasing down the correct part from the international supplier, absolutely rock bottom price without asking. Repeat custom well earned. Wish all retail was this helpful. Can't remember the name of the dude who helped me, but thanks dude!

I wish I'd read some of these reviews before I dealt with Sydney Locksmiths. Bought a $346 safe from Louise over the phone. It arrived damaged - as a direct result of her pathetic attempt at packaging it. No proper box, just a couple flimsy pieces of cardboard... really? Safe was also locked with no instructions on how to open it. Had to call them up to ask how to open it. Louise refused to accept responsibility for her packaging - said it was the courier's fault. Was very rude. Would not let me speak to the owner of the company. Will not be dealing with them again, and urge others to avoid this company too.
