Zoë Coombs Marr, Natalie Rose & Mish Grigor sure do talk a lot. First loves, sexuality, bowel movements, and birthing moans - they’ve tackled it all together, and it’s all on tape.
Acclaimed performance collective post are known for fiercely intelligent and entertaining theatre. This time round it’s a quintessentially funny coming of age story that sees a single conversation span a decade of friendship. Part comedy, part political commentary, part epic drama, these three women unravel their history in an embarrassing, hysterical and oh so nostalgic night of conversation.
Presented by Sydney Opera House.

Perhaps the most talked-about dance event of 2017, Split confirms Lucy Guerin’s status as one of Australia’s most fearless artists and original choreographers.
Space is getting tight and time is getting shorter. Two women – clothed and unclothed - move in synchronicity while the tension escalates and the allotted dance space shrinks. Are they the same person? Are we witnessing an aggressive power struggle within a relationship? Or do they represent the way we all negotiate m...odern pressure, time, and demands while our space to manoeuvre seems to endlessly reduce.
Split makes it's Sydney debut after receiving a prestigious Helpmann Award for Best Dancer (Lilian Steiner) as well as numerous other award nominations. Coupled with the intricately layered percussive score by UK composer Scanner, this mesmerising physical drama is not to be missed. Presented by Sydney Opera House.

From the Royal Danish Theatre, this special international production starring acclaimed Danish actors Stine Stengade and Morten Kirkskov goes beneath the façade of a once happy marriage to reveal a battlefield of victories and defeat, happiness and turmoil, tenderness and rage.
Originally a groundbreaking Swedish television miniseries by filmmaker Ingmar Bergman, this contemporary stage adaptation places a timely twist on tale shrouded in controversy when it initially aired... in 1973.
In this riveting take on the original story, the gender roles are reversed as Marianne and Johan re-live moments of a once perfect marriage. From scene to scene, frustrations fester as they spiral further into a world of deceit, conflict and rage.
Will Marianne and Johan continue to live as two people drawn to mutual misery, or will they search for love and meaning elsewhere?
Performed in Danish, with English surtitles.

Touch, feel, smell, sense. The climate science is clear. Yet our collective capacity as communities, governments and industry to absorb or act on the data has failed.
Join artists Cat Jones, Emily Parsons-Lord, Latai Taumoepeau and Angharad Wynne-Jones as they share their approach to exploring the imminent impacts of climate change. With no maps, charts or diagrams – they create intimate physical and sensory experiences for audiences to better imagine and prepare for our fut...ure on this planet.
Featured Works: Stitching up the sea by Latai Taumoepeau Century's Breath by Cat Jones What Stirs the Wind (an unstable luxury) by Emily Parsons-Lord
This is a free talk event. Registration is required.

Sydney doesn't suck, and neither does the Opera House. From August we're ditching single-use plastic straws, saving 1.3 million straws every year. #waronwaste #SydneyDoesntSuck #strawnomore

Join Paul Willis, Toby Walsh, Ellen Broad and Hae Won Park as they discuss a future where we live with intelligent machines. If robots can be everything from carers to warriors, what will this mean for human lives?
We are heading into a world where robots will be an increasingly important part of our lives. This won’t just have an impact on the future of work, but on the future of everything. What will it mean if robots are our toys, our pets, our friends and our partners? If... robots can be everything from carers to warriors, what does this mean not just for human lives, but for the way we understand human intelligence, human values, and humanity itself? If we want technology to create a better future for people all over the world, what do we need to do right now to make sure that we can steer these extraordinary developments in the right direction and avoid a dystopian future?
Presented by Sydney Opera House and UNSW’s Centre for Ideas.

This is not your typical Lamington. Made of cherry jam coconut cream ice-cream and sponge, surrounded by chocolate ganache, sitting in a sea of liquid nitrogen coconut milk parfait, Bennelong Restaurant’s Lamington will be available this Saturday – National Lamington Day. And the best bit – all Lamington proceeds will be donated to R U OK: bit.ly/2zRblh7

Attended the Paul Weller show no Sunday night ...no staff or security in sight.

We were harassed by a group of very drunk yobbos throughout the show and when I finally found a staff member they had a brief chat to them...things got worse after that and the staff disappeared.

We were told these people had standing room tickets and were allowed to crowd around us as they could stand where they wanted!

Why is the opera house selling standing tickets right behind the seated areas??? This led to large groups of drunks hanging around causing trouble ...are you that desperate for $$??

These aggressive drunks threw drinks over people in our section, swore repeatedly, clapped extremely loudly right above our heads and next to our ears all with no staff or security to deal with it!!

Why are you selling more tickets than seats????

Very disappointed in our experience and the way it was handled...or rather not handled!
