Students of the University of Sydney as well as community members are able to join the club after they become a member of Sydney University Sport & Fitness (SUSF).

We are located on the ground floor of the OTC - Old Teachers College - at the corner of Manning Road and Western Ave in the Camperdown campus of Sydney Uni. Our equipment includes 3 tumbling tracks, a pommel horse, mushroom, parallel bars, uneven bars, rings, climbing rope and numerous mats.

Annual gymnastics membership fee in 2016 for all members is $80. There is a $60 SUSF joining fee for uni students and $65 for non-uni students. This covers insurance.
Membership runs for the duration the academic year. It does not matter when you join - membership cannot be pro-rated. Official Opening Times : - Mon - Fri 7-9 a. m. 3-6 p. m.

Membership includes access to group classes 2 times a week. For Sem 1 2016, coached classes are Mon 5-7pm and Fri 4-6. There will be classes during academic holidays, but not public holidays.

You can pick up the forms at our gym at the OTC, have it signed by a member of the executive committee, and take it to to the Arena gym to join up. We also have a stall during O-week where you can join.

We do offer a class as a trial. However, for the purpose of insurance, we ask that you sign up with SUSF as a member ($60 /65) before trying out a class. SUSF membership covers the cost of insurance. We only have accidents on rare occasions and we will get into trouble if an uninsured member gets injured. Its also beneficial for you to be insured - for obvious reasons.

Membership fees include all classes and regular use of the gym. Classes are diverse in terms of structure and the coaches can include use of the tramp, rings and bars depending on how nicely you ask!

Classes are for people of all levels, from Beginners to Advanced. Each class is for 2 hours, consisting of a warmup, stretch, tumbling, fitness and ending with a stretch.

You will die during training, and then our coaches will kill you again. You will become a better human being than you have ever been. And you will get to hang out with awesome people. Lucky you!

The only things you do not want to ever do - wear shoes on the tumbling mats or bring weights on the tumbling mats! Otherwise, knock yourself out.
