PTs are not professional and attentive, and shower rooms are crappy. Gym equipments are just ok. However, consider the price and variety of classes offered, it is a bargain just can be improved better.

User

Very convenient and clean, especially the equipments. Usually crowded though but love their service.

User

Awesome facility with a pool, basketball courts, gym and more!
The basketball courts were quite slippery when I used them but the venue was nice. good cafe at the front

User

Pretty good basic gym. 2 squat racks, 1 bench, can make yourself 1 or 2 deadlift areas if you move some benches around.

The wierdest racist gym in sydney kicked me out because i used to ask girls out and stated as harrasment maybe i am not white
I was a member here for the past 3.5 years mand things started becoming worse when i complained about their aussie staff member named KEELAN BRIDGE 6 months ago
Dont ever complain about staff i did that and made it their goal to kick me out by finding out reasons
Keelan can just ask their staff girls to go against me as he is not a man enough to confront me in person
I thought aussie were couragoeus enough to confront people but keelan genes is not fully aussie i guess as his mother was a kind of a party animal if u know what i mean
And the staff girls who complained against me i think keelan is their sugar daddy thats why they listen to everything he says
They said its harrasing girls to ask them out For a date
The manager Mark and keelan are just lovers so they had to do what lovers do is to look after each other, hope they have a good mardi gras.
The manager MARK MCLENNAN said you cant ask girls for out it is
harrasement,he himself is a prick
he gave me a letter which i have uploaded on google as well stating harrasment not had the courage to right that its because of asking girls out because he knows its a baseless issue
If thats harrasment then all the couples who are in relationship they harrassed each other when they exchanged phone numbers
If thats harrasment then i think all the girls in the university are being harrased as well as they have been asked by atleast one of the guys in uni
and all the guys should not be allowed to study in the university as they harrased the girls by asking them out
NO COUPLES SHOULD BE SEEN IN THE UNI
i think the manager MARK MCLENNAN if he becomes the vice chancellor he would implement the same in uni but i think he is not enough qualified to become a lecturer what to talk about become a vice chancellor
he might be just a high school pass
the most racist gym and jealous of people who work thier ass off in gym because they all r teeny tiny in structure
Even the trainers get jealous if u r better than them its just that they cant show it because its a uni gym
Dont ask girls out bro they find it illegal especially if u r not white
Bunch of racist douchebags

The website states the pool is open until 10pm and 8pm on Saturdays. This is technically true, however after a certain time (7:30pm?) much of the pool is cordoned off for water polo. It would be useful to put this information on the website, as it is a waste of time to check the website opening hours, drive to the pool and then be informed the 50m pool is not open for 50m lap swimming (as you can only swim sideways across one quarter of the pool during these times).

After this happened the first time, I rang tonight and asked if the pool was open for lap swimming. I was informed it was. No mention was made of the fact that only 1/4 of the pool would be available until I specifically asked if water polo was on tonight.

My poor review is based on poor communication to the public, but the pool itself is excellent.

This is a gym where future elite athletes train. I used the weight, dietitian, boxing gym, indoor soccer court… Their staff are technical experts. All i can say, "if you want to be an elite athlete, this is where you should be training." The downside is that the membership is comparably expensive and parking is very hard to find.

Friendly staff, great facilities, lots of room in the changeroom and an indoor heated pool. Perfect for a few laps. Grab their pool calendar from the counter to check pool availability since water polo training takes up most of the pool space.

This gym and pool cooperates with the Fitness Passport program. I'll keep coming back.

The following feedback is specific to the Swim School. Please read on as I hope this review will inform future students of the swim school to consider.

I am a current student in their swim school. I go for evening lessons once a week after work. Unfortunately on Tuesday 21 March 2017, there was extreme thunderstorms that striked Sydney. Commuters heading home in the rush hour were all affected. Trees uprooted, road accidents, flash floods, train stations shut - the roads were chaos. Google it and you will see numerous articles and videos of taht evening. A journey to the school that would normally take me 30 min took me 1h 15 min. I made multiple calls to the school throughout my journey to tell them I was stuck on the road literally in gridlock and they told me to email to reschedule. I took their instruction and emailed the school.

Unfortunately the reponses I have received from them is very upsetting. They wrote back saying that they can only reschedule if I gave 72 hours notice or provide a med certificate. Otherwise I have to pay to reschedule. I replied saying that there is absolutely no way to foresee or predict that the extreme weather is going to cause widespread havoc that evening. I can't anticipate the train stations shutting down, flooding on streets and numerous car accidents. What I asked for was decency in considering that the abovementioned was out of my control. I did everything possible to call the school and even got my friend who was already in the school to let them know.

They further responded saying that i didn't give them "enough warning" and without the 72hr notice, they couldn't offer my place to someone else who needs a makeup lesson (aka they lose $19.50). 72hr notice for the effects of weather that I can't predict?! I would if I could! What baffles me is that the policy accepts medical certificates if someone fall sick that day, but not other unforeseen uncontrollable act's of God. Makes me wonder if we'll be treated similarly should a student met other unforeseen circumstances or last minute emergencies.

I must emphasise, the issue here is not about the $5 rescheduling fee but the principle behind it. I am disappointed as this swim school is part of (and representative of) the prestigious and world renowned Education institution, University of Sydney, that endeavours to produce successful students and NOT intimidate them to succumb to the centre's "Profit&Loss" driven goals. Shame.

Came here to play tennis on multiple occasions. Courts were so sandy, slipping around everywhere!
