Yes, our boat is just behind that whale there... :)
Not long now. 30th of May are our first cruises.
Looking forward to this!
Counting down the days. Only 4 weeks until our season starts!
Breaching whales for us today and yesterday! Mothers and calves on most of our cruises at the moment which is great as calves tend to be quite active with a lot of splashing around. We are coming towards the end of our season though with only a few days left..
Amazing conditions for our whale watching today! 4 whales in the morning and two in the afternoon. Not to forget the pod of Common Dolphins accompanied while we watched our whales :)
A great weekend with the whales with plenty of activity observed on our cruises. We had some great weather, too making it just that much nicer to be out on the open ocean. Our season still runs for another month, so we will see quite a few more whales this year before the season comes to an end :)
Great day of Whale Watching today spent watching two mother and calf pairs breaching close to shore today. In the morning they were breaching just off Diamond Bay, in the afternoon off Long Reef.
Going down! 10 whales for us today in perfect sea conditions, one of the calmest days we had in a long time. Some mother and calf pairs observed this morning, and two pods of two adults in the afternoon.
Great day of whale watching with 13 whales watched in the morning and another pod in the afternoon. It really is a whale highway out there at the moment. Even a rare visit by a mother and calf to Sydney Harbour this morning with a fair number of breaches by the calf, awesome stuff!
Heaps of whales this morning in great conditions. We watched a pod of 4 for most of the time and followed them from the entrance to the harbour down to Bondi Beach.
Great morning out with the whales! 3 mother and calf pairs plus another single cruising past Sydney this morning. We got to see some breaches, tail swipes and a couple of close encounters with a very curious calf checking us out. Last but not least the seal that had been at the Opera House steps was still there this morning and was posing for the cameras :)
Great morning with 6 whales close to the shore. Lovely big breach right next to us, too which was amazing to see!
We are starting to see more mothers and calves close in to shore now which is great as we dont have to travel too far and usually they are quite active, too. Great weather today with 4 whales seen all up
Finally some photos again from our cruises as we dont always have a photographer with us. Great breaches on our morning cruise today!
BANG! great breach by one of the whales this morning. Tricky start, but a great way to end the trip =)
A great weekend of Whale Watching comes to and end with many whales watched over the last two days. Today was a standout with calm seas and a lot of activity. Still plenty of whales about with about 20 seen on our cruises on the weekend.
Beautiful day we saw a couple, it was worth but not out of this world
