The reception staff are awful and dismissive, leaving you waiting at the desk to have fun conversations with other staff before serving you - with an already full waiting room. On the bright side, the sonographer I had was excellent - gentle, patient and always making sure I was okay with her movements.

Just awful. Consistently terrible service by reception. Go to MedScan in Double Bay instead - so much more professional and friendly.

I would never usually write a review but honestly feel that i need to do it so that the owner of the business sees this and can effect change. I'd never recommend going to this place with the current reception staff working there - it's poorly managed and the reception staff are extremely rude, unhelpful and apathetic. I had an ultrasound done and dropped in a previous ultrasound for comparison. I was told to come back the next day to get my results - but when i did i was told i needed to go and get a referral to get my results, so I was misadvised. I'm very busy and travel frequently so this was a hassle but I did it and came back to drop it in without a fuss. When I came back the staff all had no idea what i was talking about so I had to explain the whole thing again, I felt like I was talking to zombies. I left my referral with them, and when i came back the next week they had somehow LOST my referral, and were very rude about it an totally unapologetic "well you'll just have to get it again", with a smug look. Unbelievable.This is actually still an ongoing saga where I haven't got my results. It's been far too long, and i find this particularly appalling because they are dealing with people's HEALTH! I'm unwell and it's possible that I may have breast cancer and this is how I'm being treated....and i know lots of others have too.They should definitely all be fired and replaced with competent, caring staff.

The reception staff let this place down. They have limited to no customer service skills, rolling at eyes at non English speaking people is disgusting. From the onset you do not feel welcome and you are an inconvenience, I asked what my procedure would entail and the cost. I was given a ball park which was wrong.. I then got sent somewhere else for blood tests (even though it was explained I would have an ultrasound and a blood test) so in one morning I was charged $340 with no prior warning! And I have Medicare! I went back the day after for my results, they lied and said the bloods weren't in, they were as I had already checked with the lad. They said they would call me when they were ready. One week later, no call, so I popped in, God forbid they answer a phone! My results just sat in a box to be told I can't open them and I have to go back to my referring doctor! The initial receptionist pushed for the results to be sent to them instead of my doctor!! Why? Absolutely brainless.
The actual practitioners are professional and good at their jobs.
The reception team need to learn not to announce the reasoning for your visit to the whole foyer. Maybe a change in the desk set up should be considered. Poor. I will never go there again.

Horrible receptionist service, pretended to not hear me when she didn't want to answer a question. Phone line was perfectly fine but she continued to say the line was breaking up. Also I have Medicare and I was going to be charged $200 or $180 for an ultrasound with no reasoning. I don't recommend this practice to anyone.
