We are looking to expand our team and have several positions available.
Main Duties include: - order picking - loading & unloading trucks... - stock display - heavy lifting of pots/statues etc - customer service - general nursery maintenance
To be successful in these roles you will need to be: - punctual - reliable - a team player - physically fit - self motivated - able to work unsupervised
This is a fast paced outdoors position and you will be required to work in all weather conditions.
Previous nursery experience is not necessary.
Casual positions with possibility of full time.

Really un-impressed. We found a weeping maple for $80 which was clearly labeled and could be seen from the path near the entrance. Additionally, there was a large "sale" sign at the front of the Nursery with multiple weeping maples without prices. We thought it was a bargain, but also noticed that there were loads of them at all different prices, so we didn't question it. When we got to the counter, we were quickly and abruptly told that it was the wrong price and someone must have put the label on it. It took three people to tell us this and to then stand there and lecture us on how the plant took a long time to get to that size. The female employee then said it was $200 and again said "someone" must have put that label on because it wasn't even stuck on properly. A man then came over and sharply pulled the price tag off and ripped it up in his hand and walked off. At that point, I felt like they were saying that the "someone" they were referring to was me so I said "you having the wrong price on a plant should not end up the problem of the customer." We then left the store. Seriously, how dare you insinuate that I'm a criminal because you or your staff either put the wrong price on something or failed to notice it. Your failure is not the mistake of the customer and you should honour the price or at least negotiate considering you were in the wrong. To be honest, we didn't leave the plant because of the price, we left because of your attitude. We won't be back.
