The animalsbare well looked after. The pies are great. The staff have passion for the animals they care for. The eagles need a bigger enclosure though.
Park had a great atmosphere with plenty for the kids to see.
Great facilities for picnics and has plenty of open space to relax.
Great range of animals and shows on offer.
I went to Symbio recently with some small children, and I must say, aside from some things, this was a nice day out and I would recommend for children of all ages. They had a nice selection of animals (tigers, native birds, farm animals, even a cockatoo that says "Hello"), and the gift shop wasn't too pricey (I mean, by gift shop standards it wasn't to pricey). But other than that there were a few things that weren't quite so nice.
Firstly, the food is really expensive, so pack a picnic, it can be really crowded so make sure you go on a weekday during, school hours and go earlier in the morning if you can, and lastly, there was a bird who had been injured and was picking at his wound. We told the employees but they still weren't there 3-4 hours later. I know it seems picky, but it's really not a nice thing to see 15 min after walk into the gates.
But overall it's nice for a day out and would recommend if you have kids, or want some photos.
Loved the Aussie Zoom Tour. Our guide was so helpful and informative and gave us up close encounters with 5 of Australia's native animals. We learned a lot and were able to spend time interacting and feeding the animals. They are extremely well cared for and valued and this is a must do if you're staying near Sydney!
A very nice wildlife park offering lots of animals to look at and enjoy. The facilities are clean both for the animals and for us! The staff are kind and polite and do frequent fact talks feeding ETC with the public. They do seem very calm and relaxed and look after the animals tentively. You can get very close to the kangaroos and touch them. They seem relaxed and don't mind one even came out to get stroked and fed with a little Joey in its pouch. There are multiple exhibits and photo opportunities and the animals don't seem to mind. They get along with other species like with the alligators and turtles. Overall I really enjoyed this place as a British tourist and world recommend.
Really lovely park, the staff were wonderful especially the lady who helped us with the Koala photo (Tammy or Tabby?). She was so kind and we wouldn't have got such a great photo without her. Will definitely be back.
Been to Symbio several times throughout my life and love it. Always recommend it to people who love animals in particular Australian wildlife and people traveling from overseas as you get right up close and personal with many of the animals.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here today!
Easy to get to, staff are wonderful and is such a great atmosphere!
The food isn't great, especially considering the prices are high but regardless it was a great experience.
Kids love it. You can get closer to the animals than larger zoos (although not the Tigers) and they all look well fed and cared for. Being able to feed the Grey Kangaroos and the Wallabies is the icing on the cake. The new farm exhibit will be great when it's all finished.
Great place for a visit..
Fantastic keepers and large open areas for people to roam.. Maybe the animals are watching us
Loved it! The animals are unique and have space to live. Petting the roos was extremely fun! This zoo is the fun for kinds and adults. However probably a bit pricy for suvh a little selection.
Very well maintained, great atmosphere and selection of animals. Not overcrowded and the animals all looked in good health. Great credit to the zoo and their staff. Kids loved it.
I'm going here BUT P
