Words cannot express the pride we feel to be supporting the Two Tails Wine team and their market leading vision to pair producers (live in the room) with the food prepared by Jodie Thornbur and hosted by Rikki Cetinich at Madonna And Barry Bannerman’s Velvets Restaurant.
To be able to share our stories in a room with 60 like minded people in an intimate environment was simple, necessary, yet somehow revolutionary.
The questions asked by the guests were insightful and persona...l which highlights the need to rekindle this connection and find ways to do more of this great work.
Don Cummings from The Provedores held the room captive with his uniquely cultivated knowledge and passion for exceptional food and in particular his exposé on truffles.
Sheree Jeffrey shared her passionate story about Leonella Pasta made here locally in the Coffs Coast. She is supplying many restaurants and commercial clients in town and will soon be seen at some of the largest festivals on the North Coast.
Chelsea Crowe shared a story of long term integrated care of the land and the heritage of her family’s Black Standard Beef which is certainly why their product is so exceptional and has traditionally supplied iconic properties like the Kingsley’s Steak Houses.
