Tamlyn Farm Performance Ponies

A mare based German Riding Pony stud, focused on breeding international quality ponies that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Originally established in 2005 as a Welsh pony stud, my interests have since changed to the German Riding Pony as they are ideally suited to my new love, dressage.

I discovered these delightful ponies after realizing that I really wanted to do competitive riding again. I am too tall for small ponies but not wanting to ride a large horse, the German Riding Pony fits the bill nicely.

I also feel there is a need in Australia for a pony from 13. 2hh—15hh with the right temperament for both children and adults to ride and compete successfully in all disciplines.

We are proud to introduce Rosewater Driving Miss Daisy (imp) the first of our imported German Riding Pony mares. In August 2009 Rosewater Driving Miss Daisy arrived at our stud after a long trip from England. Daisy has a pedigree of outstanding bloodlines and her movement, as described by all that see her in action, is unbelievable!
