Flashback to 2015 - This week we're building a playground! Tag a friend who was there
Today I'm visiting Orange so I had to check out the Orange Adventure Playground (even though its extremely chilly!). Did you know that this is where the idea for our Adventure Playground started?
Charles Impey visited the Orange playground in 2008 and brought the idea back to Tamworth, working with Council and starting a committee for Tamworth to build its own - Jo
Tamworth Marsupial Park is a FREE ENTRY Family Park, in a natural bush setting, located just 2kms from the Tamworth CBD.
We have a small selection of mainly native bird and animal exhibits, covered picnic areas, free gas barbeques and private bush picnic areas throughout the Park. A huge, fully enclosed Adventure Playground was built by around a 1000 volunteers from across the Tamworth community over 6 days in mid-2015 and will delight kids of all ages.
Make sure you visit the Marsupial Park whenever you are in Tamworth, you will not be disappointed.
