Target Hornsby

Everytime I shop here, they don’t put my items to a plastic bag and I always have to ask them. So I keenly observed other shoppers going to the counter to pay. I don’t get it. Target cashiers just put other buyers items to the plastic bag! But why not to me? :/ is it because of my race or whatever? Then one time I have a bag with rollers. I was just there for like 5 mins and bought one item. After paying, the cashier asked me to open my bag - which they didn’t do with other customers! Then I bought boxes of chocolates and candy canes and I want to exchange it with other items but they said that consumables cannot be returned nor exchanged. I checked their returns policy but consumables does not exclude for exchanges or returns. I didn’t insisted as I know it’ll be a waste of time asking to unapproachable staffs. Very poor/inconsistent customer service in this shop. Other 3 shops in the same mall, are far way better!

Unimpressed. I have worked in retail my whole life and have so much respect for retail workers because I understand the stressfulneas of it all.
Hornsby target has not impressed me today and has lost my loyalty. Firstly there was no one around to help when needed. I had to go seek out someone from the registers to help direct me.
Secondly an item I wanted was hung in the department with a sign attached to it saying buy one get one free. However when I got to the registers they said sorry it doesn't include this item. So I showed them where the item was and all the signs plastered over the department and on the product I wanted but still they refused to honour the stated price.
In my store I work at we understand sometimes signage is put out wrong however we honour the price then go change the wrong signage. We don't tell the customer we can't do it because it's not included and the signage is wrong. There's no good outcome that can possibly come out of humiliating the customer in front of everyone.
So I leave Hornsby target today upset and without products and with the knowledge of how the store operates. Ive been a loyal customer for over 10 years but will now not return to the store in the future to purchase anything.

Easy to find what I was looking for and good service

My daughter who is an angel just called me in tears. Apparently she took too long to browse the makeup. She is doing a makeup course. After making her purchase and leaving the store she was searched and accused of shoplifting. Is there an apology when they are wrong? NO. I have had other problems with difficult staff members at this store. Buy what you like at this store but watch your back. There will always be someone there to ruin your day.

Generally good service and products are as expected, but I often find the isles messy.

Much smaller than other Target stores. Decent prices, but not a lot of choice.

Friendly staff but a confusing layout. Crap quality household items are marked-up and clearly not worth the price.
