Wonderful grilled teriyaki salad ruined by an angry girlfriend abusing me mid-meal. Highly reccomend for any single men.

These peeps are amazing! I'm here most Saturdays for breakfast and they are reliably quality coffee and food. Just offered to keep my cold coffees in the fridge while takeaway breakfast was being made!

Baked goods and coffee are good. I come here occasionally for coffee and they treat Campos beans properly - LBs are always on point. But food, as in their baguettes, not great at all. I just had lemongrass beef and, oh my, was it oily. Pretty gross actually. The salad on it was as minimal as it can get, one slice of cucumber and one piece of spring onion... Do yourself a favour and walk down to City Edge instead where they do mind blowing sandwiches.

I have been going to taste for years, I always order the lemon grass beef. I love it! Today they only had the chicken available. All the other ingredients were the same as the lemongrass beef, so I thought I'd try something new. Well that was a mistake. It didn't taste so great. The chicken started repeating on me half way through, so I threw it out. Within a few hours I was on the loo constantly and vomiting up the weird tasting rotten chicken. Ohhhh so sick. I couldn't go to work because of the food poisoning. It's so dissapointing, is putting it mildly.

When I consider how nice and cheap the Vietnamese rolls are in suburbs such as a Marrickville, I wonder how this place can stay in business. But that's answer, there's not much competition around them. The rolls are only just OK, and nearly double of what they would cost at nicer places. Also, 50c extra for chilli on a $8 roll is cheeky.

Not an easy one to rate, the roast pork with brie for lunch is fantastic. But two days in a row now and they've not had the pork and fennel chipolatas available at breakfast. Sorry but that's not acceptable if it is in your menu.
Update 1 day later, menu has had the chipolatas crossed of. Upgrade rating to 3 stars -just! Service still needs a lot of work.
