Tatum Hills Farm

About Tatum Hills Farm

A small farm near Canberra. We run fun and educational school visits, tours, parties and workshops. We sell our farm products including handcrafted soap.

Tatum Hills Farm Description

What noise do llamas make? What are llama slippers? How do chickens chew their food? What are goat's horns for? These are just some of the fun facts you’ll learn while visiting Tatum Hills. You will also get an opportunity to feed, pat and walk the llamas, collect some fresh eggs, feed the chickens and ducks, learn about how feathers work and how a chick develops. Occasionally we may have some baby animals for you to cuddle and when the goat is in milk you can try your hand at milking her too.
Our farm is not a farmyard nursery, but a pet farm aiming to show adults and children how to interact respectfully with the animals. The focus is to learn about them and to understand their behaviour. Only one group of people is allowed on the property at any one time to ensure a personal and more enjoyable experience.

The full tour lasts about 90 minutes and is mostly aimed at children aged 2- 12 years old and their guardians, but we think older children and adults will also find lots of fun things to do and learn while visiting Tatum Hills.

Our birthday parties are 2. 5 hours of farm fun and games.

We also offer school visits and workshops.

Tours and parties can be fully customised to your needs.
