Tawnya is a chef, food consultant and founding partner of Straight To The Source. Having worked 21 years in the food industry, from owning a food production and gourmet distribution company to now offering food consulting and bespoke tours, Tawnya continues to combine her culinary experience with her passion for Australian produce.

This experienced has brought with it a vast network of farmers, producers and chefs, many of whom she works with in her varying roles within the culinary industry. Tawnya's innate passion for food and cooking that extends beyond the kitchen to production and agriculture makes her one of the leading food consultants in the country.

Tawnya's broad range of experience includes creating and producing her own line of seafood sauces (The Condiment Connoisseur), owning a national gourmet distribution company, menu planning and costing, recipe development, designing artisanal gift hampers for the corporate market, researching farmers' markets and developing regional farm tours.

Chef trained in commercial cookery via Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute, Tawnya is currently studying a Master of Gastronomic Tourism through Southern Cross University and Le Cordon Bleu.
