Foundations of Social Science students learnt about rituals in religion through a study of Hinduism. After yoga, students experienced puja, created rangoli’s and then used symbols to create mehndi designs.

"The college encouraged all of us to participate in school activities. We went to the University of Sydney’s Chemistry Lab for our Organic Chemistry and this to me was effort made by the college to ensure that we understood the lesson, fully, not... just theoretically.
The teachers were very kind and helpful to all of us. I visit them outside classes to clarify the lessons and ask questions. They answered all of them with patience."

To celebrate Taylors College working with the University of Sydney to give international students their first step towards a degree, we met up with some of our students who share their experiences of studying in Australia and being part of our international community. Happy 20th Anniversary!

We are celebrating Taylors College Sydney working with The University of Sydney for the past 20 years. Chris, our campus director has been an integral part of that partnership, making sure our students get the best education we can provide.
"A good degree from a good university, travel, and maybe you end up back home or maybe you don’t, but that is what people do these days and I think if you finish up with a University of Sydney degree, the world is your oyster and you will... have a wonderful future."
What is the best part of the job Chris?
"Working with international students, I just enjoy seeing them develop...Before the education, before the university degree, I want to know they are safe and being looked after."

Winter wonderland! 27 students and 4 teachers enjoyed a weekend of snow, sunshine and more snow, staying at Jindabyne 17th - 19th August 2018

TAG meeting turned out to be a great one on Wednesday 1st Aug! Not only was the turnout fantastic, but the people were lovely too! It was a good segway into our next game: the blanket game! Absolutely fun- a very classic go-to that’s bound to break the ice. The last game, however, undoubtedly does the latter the best. The knot-game was an easy task for some groups but was a challenge to others. ). It's exciting for this season of TAG-gers, the group undeniably one that is passionate, diverse and promising. On 3rd July 2018 our USFP graduating students celebrated the end of their course at the wonderful University of Sydney Great Hall. The address was given by the Chairman of our Board, Professor Peter McCallum and our students were supported by many friends and parents.
There were photos of students, our amazing musicians performed and our top performing students received academic awards for coming first in a subject. In addition two students who were named DUX of USFP (top ov...erall GPA) and as well four students who won prestigious scholarship awards.
An excellent afternoon was had by all.
