Seriously, I'm so over TW @ Stanhope.

I appreciate that TW push generic from a Head office level, they make a better margin, I've worked with pharmacies, selling into them BUT when I walk in & I tell them I don't want generic that's where it should stop.

I went to purchase medication & I asked for the branded product, the pharmacist replied with "there is no difference as its made by the same supplier & we also have our own TW brand" my response was the same, no thanks I want the branded product.. The pharmacist replied "but you will pay a premium price, it's $8.50" yep, that's fine that's what I want... Only to be then told that i shouldn't be taking this medication as I'm pregnant but yet my GP & Hospital both are very aware of the meds I'm on.... Not sure why this is now an issue... I asked her then about an alternate over the counter... She said it was fine & she took me over... I made it clear I again wanted the brand BUT again she tries - pushes me generic... again said no thanks I want the brand. The pharmacist didnt say anything & just left me there to complete my purchase... Mind you my sister went to purchase the over the counter only a few weeks before in this store for me but was told pregnant women can't take it... I just don't think people know what they are doing.

I was planning to also purchase other baby items in store as not many pharmacies sell Mustela but decided that I wouldn't bother spending my money in their store & I'll never return... I'm disgusted that they feel it's ok to be pushy even when the customer has made it clear it's not wanted.

Stop pushing generic when the customer says no, it's NO... Simple!
