About Tg'S Child Care And Preschool

TG’s provide child care and pre-school education for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. For 20 years, the loving TGs family are the best educators to care and nurture young minds, in a secure, creative environment where Playing is Learning for Life.

Tg'S Child Care And Preschool Description

Gayle Kee is a mother, grandmother and working mum. She knows what it's like trying to be Super-Mum, juggling work and motherhood.

With over 32 years as a pre-school teacher, Gayle feels for parents struggling between work, home and raising children. She knows what it's like and wanted to make a difference, helping parents nurture their children so parents don't feel guilty about working or taking some well-earned time out.

That’s how TG’s Child Care and Pre-School was born. In 1998.

TG's provides a nurturing, secure, stimulating environment where Playing is Learning for Life for every child. You and your child are our extended family and that means you can pop in anytime to observe, to share, to chat, and to learn with your child and our educators. At TG’s, our passionate, creative and highly qualified educators work with you to ensure your child develops socially, emotionally, physically and academically, expanding their young, inquiring minds through each developmental milestone. Every child is different so we focus on what each child knows, can do and understand. Their learnings are extended and supported through positive interactions and building relationships with their peers and educators.

We believe building relationships, understanding your gifts and collective thinking are the biggest gifts we can give to you and your child. That is why they are our foundations stones so we can consistently provide an environment of love, trust, respect, compassion and fun.

When parents walk into our centres, they say they ‘cannot describe what is it about TG’s but it feels so right’. We know it is the all-important ‘parent intuition’ that comes from every protective parent when they want the best for their child – and it cannot be ignored. This ‘feeling’ parents have flows through the indoors and outdoors, in every room and every play space. We know that this feeling comes from a happy and secure environment where Playing is Learning for Life.

We believe children learn best when the physical environment supports curiosity with a range of creative opportunities for learning and physical activity, both indoors and outdoors. Trevor Kee is a qualified landscape designer. He challenges himself and his own childlike curiosity to build the most stimulating outdoor play-spaces for your child so the only thing left is to enjoy playing and learning with friends. When we see how they explore, experiment and discover the world around them, we know we have created a little oasis just right for children.

TG's success is when each child achieves AND when parents celebrate these achievements right alongside their child - beaming with love, pride and happiness

Bob Turner was very proud to introduce his animal friends to our Riverbreeze children, sharing his passion and knowledge of how to look after these beautiful creatures whilst making sure we stay safe. We said hello to blue tongues, turtles, bugs, lizards and snakes!

👨🏻‍🌾 Supporting the Farmers👩🏼‍🌾 Day 4 We had lots of amazing farmer and cowboy dress ups today!
The Boaties explores the mud tub and play dough table filled with farm animals as they used them through their role play.
... Kiara introduced a fine motor activity to further extend on our farm animal interest. She created animal pens on the tables with sticky tape before introducing fluffy cotton balls as sheep. Using paintbrushes we explored hand eye coordination and control as we round up the animals, getting the sheep back to their homes!
Educators used a felt story to guide the children as we took turns to tell the story ‘Old McDonald’, adding our favourite animals to the farm scene.

👩🏼‍🌾Support our Farmers Week👨🏻‍🌾 Day 2
Today the Boaties read a book all about farm animals. Billy proudly shared his knowledge identifying the “neigh neigh and the cow!”. “We get milk from cows”, he explained.
Once outside Kiara extended by introducing a sensory experience filling up gloves with water before hanging them above a bucket. She then cut small holes in the fingertips and invited the children to explore role play as we ‘milked the cows’. This then scaffolded dis...cussion around what happens on the farm and where we get our food from.

The Boaties explored ‘Old McDonald had a farm’ to introduce the children to our ‘Support the Farmers’ week. Taking turns we identified our favourite animals before they children shared their understanding of what farmers do. “Cows! And they eat hay... from the tractor!” Lachlan smiled.
This morning Mal and Cathy replenished our sandpit. We had so much fun climbing the pile before helping to level it out in our sandpit area.
