The Albion Hotel

We've been coming to the Albion for many years. Its situated very close to the city which makes it very convenient for us and if you get there early enough you can utilise the large car park provided for patrons. The restaurant food was 1st class back a few years ago, unfortunately the quality dropped away a bit but its seems to be coming back now. They have a great selection of beers on tap as well some great wines with your food. It can get a we bit noisy when the pub is busy but that's all part of the old pub atmosphere...

It was a typical summer's sunday. We were meeting one of my sons for lunch. For some reason I had it in my head that i'de like a sunday roast !!
I tried a quick google but there weren't to many places advertising the roast.
Time caught up and my better half suggested we try the old Albion. We hadn't been there for a few weeks.
So it made for a good change. ... When we arrived, I was surprised to see the Albion had undergone a great revampt, actually it looked quite good and inviting with its new tables, chairs, carpet and a very nice paint job...
To top it all off, I noticed that they had a special pork sunday roast on the menu as well as a nice cold stout beer.
Well what can i say, this had to be the best and tastiest Sunday roast in town, we all enjoyed our meals.
The dining room wasn't very busy for a Sunday, so we ended up having a nice quite afternoon... actually i can't wait to go back again...

Great service and location good beer.

While there was a small hiccup at the start, the hotel staff and management were exceptional in dealing with it and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Thank you

We went here for a quick lunch. We weren't expecting much, but what we got was better than expected. The dishes were simple, but good. If you arenin the area, difinetly check it out!

The Albion's make-over is making an impact. The new interior colours and artwork look great. Can't wait to see the final effect.

Great venue. Excellent selection of craft beers. Food is good quality and good value. An excellent venue for groups

good food but priced higher than your average pub

Albion burger - chicken avocado decent price and quick service

Its a great venue for an informal.meal. prices are reasonable amd won't break the purse. A welcoming local pub feel.
