Unilateral training is really humbling. Just when you think your strong-ish, ⚠️ BAM⚠️ Not so strong. Its a great way to strengthen your weaker side and even out any imbalances. For me, my left (non dominant) side is weaker. If your not incorporating it into your training, I would highly recommend it πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ . . Second week into practising pistol squats. Did you know that when running, your knees withstand a force of about 5-12 x your bodyweight with each step (depending on your speed and form) We are pretty amazing! 😊
So don’t shy away from running, it’s great for your cardiovascular system, bone density and overall health! Long distance, short distance, high intensity training etc find something that you enjoy and stick with it 😊
